Early rise for me today, don't know what that's about. I feel cheated from a nice lie in

Congratulations to mich, lois, shala, bunty & swiper on your losses :T
Glad that you've been able to eat some solids Meg! How many syns in baileys btw, I quite fancy one at Christmas x
Welcome Karley and well done on your losses so far. Stick with it, even if you go off plan now and again, you really will get good results.Size 14 Crabapple :T:T be a 12 soon!
I really hope so - am avoiding buying more jeans for that very reason! My current size 14s are a bit loose but not falling down yet so they have to last - does depend on cut and style though. The tops will last me but I'm fairly busty and have mum-tum so I need a bit of extra room anyway
Did some running last night - there is nothing faster than a mum with a crying & bleeding child! She only scraped her nose and upper lip falling over but it was dark and I couldn't see how bad it was so just scooped her up and ran for the light. Running on a broken toe carrying over 2 stone of toddler is a bad idea - it's not really been bothering me until last night and now it hurts
Still can't quite get my head around the idea I was lugging more than that extra weight around with me without picking up my children - so glad it is gone
Oh, and I've decided this week to do the syns bank so I can allow for that croissant (it was lush but so so many syns) and am catching up with myself! Still writing everything down and tallying syns so I can hopefully keep to plan for a whole week and see what that does to the scales. Not even home weighed this week - although my friend was round yesterday and complained that my scales made her put on 6lb over hers at home :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

On the subject of the potential changes to plan - who has the earliest WI in the New Year so they can fill us all in?! Guessing there'll not be groups running on the 1st so who weighs Friday?
Mine's not until the 7th...:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I have had a very busy week and a very sore back as a result but managed to lose -1lb, Shala
Not a lot but I'll take it gladly.
Everywhere I go and look is food, chocolate, cakes, pastries etc etc
Going to make the SW recipe for pulled pork in the slowcooker today. Better get it started soon, have to make the sauce first, then pour it over.
Away to read back a few pages, have a lovely weekend0 -
Here is the recipe for sticky hoisin sausages:-
Each sausage is:-
1.5 syns on EE
1.5 syns on original
2 syns on green
20 pork cocktail sausages
2 level tbsp. hoisin sauce (4 syns)
4 tbsp. tomato puree
4 tbsp. dark soy sauce
1/4 tsp sweetener
1/4 tsp dried red chilli flakes
Preheat the oven to 180c/fan 160c/gas 4. Place the sausages in a large mixing bowl.
Mix together the hoisin sauce, tomato puree, soy sauce, sweetener and chilli flakes. Pour over the sausages and toss to mix well.
Place the sausages in a single layer in a roasting tin lined with baking parchment. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until sticky and cooked through.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
I use 2 packs of Tesco healthy living Cumberland sausages and cut each sausage into 4 pieces instead of the pork cocktail sausages and then just put a container of cocktail sticks on the table so everyone can help themselves. I would syn these sausage pieces as 0.5 syn each.
Hope this helps
Tracey
I suppose you could do these with the Heck chicken sausages from Tesco, they're only 1/2 syn each, so if you cut them up small, you can have quite a few. Might do them for nibbling on0 -
Maman I meant to say I thought of you at the weekend! My Lidl have started doing a 200g pack of little individually wrapped chocolates 12.5 g. I was delighted to find these as its means I can exert some portion control as I have none when I buy the 200g bar. Also they are all different flavours and lovely - so even better!!
sounds interesting, what are they called? I can not one square of chocolate of a bar so individual ones would be much better, do you know the syn value?0 -
Meg - :rotfl:naughty
mim - hope your techie problems get solved and OH gets well - don't you be catching his grems!
Thanks Shala - techie problems seem to have been sorted so far, I can manage without apps! OH is on the mend, I have a slight sore throat but am fighting all the way. I take vitamin C daily anyway so I've upped the dose and this morning I'm having toast & honey (medicinal purposes:p). We are def going to the dinner dance even if its only for the dinner rather than the dancing. I've got two new pairs of shoes, ordinary ones & dancing ones and there both SPARKLY!
I am slightly off plan for today but my dinner tonight isn't too bad. Its, Lentil soup, mushroom pasta sort of dish, marinated cherries with either cream or ice cream, coffee & chocolates.
My day got off to a cracking start with a 2lb LOSS SHALA :jWeight loss 0/2st

Morning all
It's actually nearly afternoon here - I've had a very lazy morning!KarleyMarie wrote: »Hello to everybody and thankyou for welcoming me.
I follow the extra easy plan as that's the only plan my slimming world consultant talks about. My favourite recipes so far are diet cola chicken and campfire stew. I also eat a lot of jacket potatoes or pasta pots.
Whatever I lose will be better than what I could be gaining if I hadn't joined.
My weigh ins so far:
Week 1 - 6lbs Week 2 - 2.5lbs Week 3 - 2.5lbs Week 4 - 3.5lbs(SOW)
Xx
You're doing really well, a stone in 4 weeks is great progress. :T
I recommend looking at red and green plans too, because you might have days when one or other would fit and you can have 2 HEBs and 2 HEAs.SwipernoSwiping wrote: »I can't see a complete abandoning of EE and Superfree as they do work... the question is more about "Long term"
I wouldn't be surprised if they are looking to nudge the plan toward the "Med" diet that includes more oils/nuts and fish.
I think that would be a good idea. For too long we've all been brainwashed into thinking fat is the enemy and bad for us, when in fact it is an essential nutrient. I treat avocado, olives and olive oil like free food (in moderation of course) and I'm losing weight. They contain good fats so they shouldn't be synned! They're just as good for you as oily fish, which is free.
Rant over... :rotfl:
Meg - that photo has really made me fancy some Baileys!Trouble is, I'm more likely to drink 100mls than 25! Maybe I'll stick to wine or gin.
Have a good weekend, and don't get stressed about Christmas, this time next month it will all be over.
