    Evening All!

Weight loss has stalled past few weeks including a gain :-( so bought myself a cheap elliptical cross trainer from someone off Gumtree (£20!) to see if things start moving down again... off for two and a bit weeks over Xmas so no excuses really!

Only managed 20 mins tonight as its a lot harder than it looks moving the old arms and legs together but some people have had good results; used to have a treadmill and this is slightly more enjoyable but b****y hard work!

    Hello all :)

Sorry I havnt been on here very much lately but it's been a busy couple of weeks. I've skim read the thread but feel like I've only been half here! Hope you know what I mean :rotfl:

Well done to all who are still losing, and well done to all who are struggling and yet still hanging on. Like your attitude Lantanna :T

I only managed to say goodbye to 1/2lb this week Shala but that's ok. I went off plan a bit, and it was definitely a bit poor in the super free department! I won't be able to get to WI next week, so will call that STS. I will be away some of the week, and don't know yet if there will be much signal, hopefully it'll be ok cuz I'll need your support to keep away from all the extras that are always around when you are away from home! :rotfl:

Hello to everybody and thankyou for welcoming me.

I follow the extra easy plan as that's the only plan my slimming world consultant talks about. My favourite recipes so far are diet cola chicken and campfire stew. I also eat a lot of jacket potatoes or pasta pots.

Whatever I lose will be better than what I could be gaining if I hadn't joined.

    My weigh ins so far:
    Week 1 - 6lbs Week 2 - 2.5lbs Week 3 - 2.5lbs Week 4 - 3.5lbs(SOW)

    Xx

Does anyone here use skimmed milk? I use mine for porage, occasional cereal, teas and very rarely a cheese sauce. I was wondering if I used that I could split my HEA and squeeze a bit of cheese on days when I only have a splash in tea as I like it quite strong.

I split my hexs maman - I use skimmed milk but don't have it in tea or coffee (well maybe sometimes a little splash in coffee).

Well done losers :T and commiserations to sts and gainers :(

Welcome to our merry little band KarleyMarie - great results so far btw :T

    Love your attitude lantanna. ;)

Went Christmas shopping with DH today and the new dress and tights had another airing ;). Will have to get it worn more as I can tell already that it is much slacker now than when I bought it - I suppose its a good problem to have sort of.

Hope you all have a fab weekend whatever you get up to. We are busy tomorrow and maybe on Sunday we are planning on getting the tree and decs up. :j

  • Ah! The proverbial blue bottomed fly season. School Fairs, Plays, bag packing, choir-tree-lighting-big-switch-on chaos. Tree going up today - WI reveals a happy -1lb off please Shala.

Started weighing at the end of a day instead of a start - so it could be more than that morning wi and school runs = stress= stress eating=gain... so common sense said to fit it in elsewhere.

I also heard that they are changing the plan in January something to do with getting rid of superfrees or something. No idea I'm a real stick in the mud and hate it when things change!!
I can't see a complete abandoning of EE and Superfree as they do work... the question is more about "Long term"
I wouldn't be surprised if they are looking to nudge the plan toward the "Med" diet that includes more oils/nuts and fish.

    Good Morning :)

Don't like the look of the med diet :(

I don't like nuts and oils and am fussy with fish :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
