Shala, -2lb for me today and got my first half stone award
Hope your mouth is ok, scary though, any idea of what have given you a reaction?
Well done to all the losers, we're on a roll!0 -
:T more great losses reported today. You'll probably have a decent loss next week as you get back on plan jock.In previous jobs I've had the same problem, and it was also the case when you were out 'on the road' because if you relied on buying lunch in petrol stations or motorway services the choices were always very poor. The situation has improved slightly with the advent of M&S/Waitrose shops on the forecourts but they're still in the minority.
L
That was one (of many) reasons I put on weight in the first place. I seemed to snack on pork pies and pasties....and I loved every mouthful!!:rotfl:
I do agree that it's better since M&S joined in but most of their sandwich packs are around 20 syns, never any wholemeal bread and you just have to have crisps with them. It's the law!Just had some breakfast casserole and it was okay, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I'll do it again. Someone here said they do something similar in a frying pan and finish it off under the grill which is the way to go.
L
Thanks for the review. I suppose it's designed for people with no time in the mornings.
It was me that mentioned the frittata/Spanish omelette although I know others make them on here. To make them filling you need potatoes as well as other veg IMO. I use tinned ones if I haven't any LOs. So fry up sliced potato with whatever else you've got. I like onion/spring onion, diced peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms. You can add broccoli or asparagus or bacon or ham depends what you've got in. When they're cooked then pour on beaten eggs. Most recipes say 6 for a large frying pan but I often use less and it turns out like a hash! Then cook as for an omelette and finish off under the grill. Cheese on top is tasty if you can spare some HEA.
Glad you're feeling brighter lush. Sounds like you've got a busy week coming up. Why not make yourself something for your trips to the hospital and then you'll have more pennies for your Christmas trip on Friday.
I've been out for lunch today with DD2 as it's her birthday tomorrow. Indulged in fish and chips with batter.:o Good news is that the mushy peas were free and I didn't have any wine syns.;) Had SW breakfast and If I feel hungry later, plenty of LOs in fridge so just a meal off plan.
Same again tomorrow then back on it seriously Friday.0 -

Afternoon all
I sneaked a look on the scales today and the second number is back in single figuresvery pleased with my little self
it's a good number too. However there's still five days to go and I'm hoping to nudge that number down by at least another four to be where I want to be
mind if I manage that it will be a miracle! However I've done it before so it's not impossible. Really focusing this week
woke up this morning with a stinking cold but shall not let that defeat me
have been drinking loads of fluids today and added extra curry powder to my leftover four bean curry at lunch to try and blast this cold out of me. Have also had some satsumas for vitamin c. On the upside foot seems to have recovered but the weather here is stinking so I did some home exercise. Can't get near the bike for Xmas pressies
so I did 20 minutes of stepping which left me nicely sweating and exhausted! Burned 171 calories according to my app which I know isn't much but better than nowt!
Today's food plan.
B: Frozen mixed fruit, 2 x 0% raspberry Activia, cup of decaf coffee with HEXA
L: LO four bean curry with extra curry powder, steamed mixed veg. 2 satsumas, 2 pints of NAS cordial
Snack: 2 bananas, Alpen Light bar (3 syns) pint of NAS
T: mince and tatties- Quorn mince, mashed potato made with water and salt, tinned carrots, tomatoes with garlic, frozen peas. 2 x mini milks (3 syns) can of caffeine free diet Pepsi
S: HEXB salt and vinegar Ryvita Minis. 1 Chokomallo (3 syns) 1 pink n white jammies (3 syns) pint of NAS, cup of decaf coffee with HEXA
Body magic: 20 mins stepping (equivalent to 1.3 mile walk)
Syns: 12
Off for a jaunt round the shops tomorrow. Was going to go Friday for Black Friday but I don't cope with huge crowds well due to my anxiety and my crutches get in everyone's way so going tomorrow instead. Got my TMA result back today and I'm v. Happy- I got a 2:1 which is much better than I expected as I fully expected to fail as I wrote a load of rubbish because I had no idea what I was doing
Hope everyone's ok xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Evening all. Didn't post last night after WI cos I was shattered and a bit grumpy
0.5lb off for me please Shala. When I first saw the scales I thought I had put half on instead so I wasn't as annoyed at missing my shiny as I might otherwise have been!
So close to that shiny, I just need to focus a little this week... haven't been so far though
Well done wiz on getting good results at the diabetes clinic. Well worth the weight loss even if it is frustratingly slow for you sometimes.
