Great work just the two of us
Fab loss Meg72
Lovely news wizkid1
I am not so optimistic about seeing a loss when I weigh myself in the morning, a STS would be grand though after the indulgences at the weekend but we shall see. On a fluids binge today to try and get things moving and bf want's chippy tea but I am going to have leftovers from the fridge whilst he indulges
Today's menu:
Breakfast: Ready Brek (HeB stand in) made with 150ml skimmed milk (all that was left at work) from HeA plus a cup of tea also with skimmed milk (bleugh)
elevensies: Satsuma
lunch: only had a mugshot and no soup yesterday so I will have that free soup today
Tea: left over savoury mince (3.5syn) with rice and some salad
Any ideas how many syns are in Werther's butter mints?
I think next week I am going to have a bit of a strange week next week; I'm going down to take my dad to hospital for an operation on Monday so will be a bit hectic (also delivering a pram I've sold) in Sheffield, Tuesday I have to go back down to pick him up and take him home. Wednesday/Thursday I'm working and Friday we are off to the Trafford Centre for the day. I think I'll probably try and take/buy salads Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday I'll have soup at work (will make ahead and freeze on Sunday) then Friday it will be a day off plan as it's a little Christmas-y adventure************************************

1lb lost for me!
I went away with work and had to eat the food that they provided on a buffet basis, I tried my best but the puddings were too tempting. Then on Sunday we went to Thomasland and I ended up having a small pizza and some wedges, and then later a Twix.
So three bad days for me.
I went to an early morning weigh in the previous week, which I think gave me an extra weight loss I didn't deserve (i tried to compensate by wearing jeans and a jumper).
Frankly I'm pleased to have lost anything, I should have gained.0 -
Thanks Lois
That is probably exactly what I need to hear!! I'm already sitting here planning how good I am now going to be !0 -
Just popping back as I forgot to mention the breakfast casserole - prepared it at teatime while I was cooking our meal and set the slow cooker to 12 hours from 7 o'clock when we went out. I haven't tasted it myself but DH had some for breakfast and then took some with him to golf and he said it was nice. It looks a bit [STRIKE]burnt[/STRIKE] overdone to me, so I think 10 hours would probably have been enough.

Stuck to plan and lost 3lb this week. I am delighted!
If I keep going with the plan I will definitely lose my stone by Christmas - only 2.5 lbs to go.
I still don't know what my final target weight will be, but I will hopefully reach club10 early in the New Year, then my interims by summer and next Christmas. All I need to do is stick with it.0 -

I had that problem on training courses so I commiserate with you. I don't understand why these buffets have to be so full of fat-laden carbs - a rice or cous-cous salad can't be too difficult surely.0 -

I think they know their market, Mullerlights and Muesli turned up at breakfast one day, but not much thought was given to anyone on a diet. I managed a jacket potato and beans one lunch, but when you're evening meal isn't until 8pm, its a long time between lunch and dinner.
Just glad I managed to get through it with no lasting weight gain, I'd put a few pounds on when I got back on Thursday but sticking to the plan really paid off and it seemed to drop back off pretty quick.0 -
Just had some breakfast casserole and it was okay, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I'll do it again. Someone here said they do something similar in a frying pan and finish it off under the grill which is the way to go.

In previous jobs I've had the same problem, and it was also the case when you were out 'on the road' because if you relied on buying lunch in petrol stations or motorway services the choices were always very poor. The situation has improved slightly with the advent of M&S/Waitrose shops on the forecourts but they're still in the minority.
