-1LB for meYippee. Menu today is undecided. I am having SW chips and egg for lunch with pickles and a satsuma and will play it by ear later as I often find I'm not hungry if I eat a "meal" at lunch time.0

Blimey.. A normal cheesecake wouldn't be much more than that a slice would it?
Well done on the loss mumoftwo.. Fab start :T
Well done to all other losers too x
Oh, I am sure it would! I made one couple of weeks ago, used digestives for base with tiny amount of butter, which was not enough and the base was crumbling. Used ff yogurt and quark for top, with sweetener, no added fat or sugar, free foods, basically with lemon and lime. Just the because of the base, it was 5syns per slice (not a big one, I deivided the cake in 16 slices, I think it was 26cm form)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

I made the one with scan bran base and wasn't impressed.. Couldn't pretend it was the real thing at all so never bothered again :rotfl:
Was curious so had a look on the app quite a few 'basic' ones showing around 3.5/4/5 syns for 25g.. Not sure how big a slice that would be, sounds tiny!0 -
Morning all..blue_eyed_girl wrote: »We have a butternut squash and looked on the SW website for recipe idea - the spicy butternut squash soup appealed but we don't have any leeks in so it will have to wait for another time.
You could just use onions instead.. it won't make that much difference to the taste.
Well done crabapple :T slinky, slinky..

Well done for the loss.
If that's all you've had/going to have then you could have either a Red or Green day depending on what you decide for dinner tonight! When I have egg and chips I usually have baked beans and mushrooms as well!
I would then have something like veg curry/rice for dinner.
Supper would then be HEA/HEB crackers and cheese! You'd also still have another HEA/HEB that you could use - perhaps bread with your egg & chips (I love dipping my bread into the runny yolk!)

Some amazing losses on here this morning.:Tone and all.
So pleased that SW is keeping you healthy shala. Although I know that it's vanity that motivates me most, I am happy that I'm eating healthily too.
mumof2, I think taking the teabags was a great idea. It means people could try one (even if they took it home with them) before buying a packet. That's why I don't think it's a cop out if you don't cook. Loads of people bring low syn crisps and rice cakes for people to try. Just think denise, you could have taken in some of that popcorn!;):rotfl:
I used to hate the 'happy clapping' too but now I just sit there like some sort of demented seal and I'm not even really conscious of it. I do give genuine applause to those I know are working hard but not really for those who love saying how bad they've been and almost boasting about it.
just2ofus, your loss in a year is amazing. Like you say, I'd just keep going until you're at a weight your happy with. I know if I go too far below target my thighs and arms start looking a bit scraggy. The trouble is if I'm just a couple of pounds over I feel like thunderthighs! There's no pleasing me.:D
Delighted for you FE. I'm not surprised as you sound more organised and 'in the zone' now than ever before. It's making a massive difference not buying stuff on the hoof.
ginvzt, you could easily have your porage and not use syns if you make it a Green day. So if you have meat tonight you'll have to syn it (or syn the extra HEXs).
lush, I think a certain amount of guilt and motherhood just go hand in hand. Wonderbairn could have rolled off the sofa anytime whether you were working or not and whether you or BF or anyone else was with her. Just wait until she starts walking (and falling over) all on her own.
Wow! that was some marathon and I haven't managed to say all I wanted. Will post my menu separately.0 -
Thankfully there's no popcorn left at the moment!!! Next time I'll ignore the instructions to use 4 scoops of corn (I actually only used 3) and only do one scoop - think that will still make enough for at least 2 days for me and DH!
We had a taster last week but I just weighed and left as DH had a hospital appointment so I needed to meet him at work.

I experimented with making low syn gravy last night. It was OK but I overdid the tomato puree so was more like a tomato sauce, but I will persevere. DH really enjoyed it though. mildredd, is it you make gravy by reducing down stock?
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L:ham, bubble & squeak, cornichonsSW beef chilli and rice (loads of veg in but will add more mushrooms to use up)
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, may have some cheese on chilli
Would some cottage cheese work on top of chilli? I was thinking a bit like crème fraiche or sour cream?0
