If I can lose weight by going to class, it's worth putting up with the clapping and endless discussing, lol

    Well done, mumoftwo!

It is only 11am and I have finished what I brought with me for lunch. didn't have proper breakfast this morning, just grabed a cup of coffee and three finn crisp thingies with a tine smear of jam.

I made a 'quiche' last night with left over cooked veg from a frozen bag by whisking three eggs and 500g of quark with herbs, lined the form with bacon slices and just poured it all in. Nearly burnt it - forgot I was cooking it!!!!!! Still, it was ok, just needed more seasoning. So, I had half of that with me for lunch and it is all gone.

I have some porridge with me in the cupboard, so if apple, banana and whatever other fruits I can find around are not stuffing me, will have a porridge in the afternoon. So far had 1/2 of HeB (finn crisps) and 1/3 HeA (milk), so with porridge what would be another whole HeB and the remaining 2/3 of HeA.

Congrats on being miss slinky Crabapple, well done. And also well done to all the other losers.

I have my first group WI this morning, quite nervous, you want to do well in your first week, don't you? Not looking forward to the attention and questions but hey, if it keeps me on the straight and narrow.....

It's taster week as well, never done one before. Was going to make tuna cucumber cups but now re-thinking that idea, who would eat that at 9.30 in the morning? I have lots of salted caramel and gingerbread green tea bags, would that be ok to take? I might make some rolled up ham spread with Philly Mediterranean tomatato and cut up, if I have time to do it.

I better go, will report later

Good luck with your first WI, as long as you've stuck to plan for the week you will see a loss. I only lost 0.5lb my first week (in fact my weight loss was usually 0.5lb a week with the odd 1lb chucked in for good measure:rotfl::rotfl:).

You'd be amazed at what people will eat at morning tasters! My last taster I took veggie curry and rice and virtually all of it went! I had enough curry left to nuke when I got home for my lunch and another small amount to freeze for the following week. Had to make rice both times though!

The ham and philli roll ups sound lovely as well.

Yet another EE day for me today:

B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight Vanilla & mixed red fruits
    L - HM carrot & lentil soup
D - HM rabbit stew (from freezer) and mashed potato

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day (a little into the mash)
    HEB - porridge

Syns: butter (in mash) 2.5; fruit split 3

Was going to have a pink 'n' white this evening but if I do I'll be over syns for the week so will make do with just the fruit split:A

Just came out of group, someone had made a cheesecake, no one asked the syns. Leader did after it was all eaten, 6 syns per slice, everyone went: oooohhhhh, lol Glad I didn't have any, ham roll ups went down well as did the flavoured green teas. There was curry and frittata and meat loaf too.

Well done on your brilliant loss this week. I know what you mean about the clapping but I put up with it as I know I wouldn't stick with it without group!

I never eat anything like cheesecake at tasters because they are invariably high syn for a small piece. I tend to stick to the savoury things as they are usually free or very low syns. Fortunately our consultant goes round the table picking up stuff and asking how it was made and how many syns before we all dive in, LOL!

Your wasted!!! Your meals look absolutely fantastic! Lol at the cats

I was looking after a friends cat years ago and it swiped a tuna steak out of my hand once when I was putting it on the grill lol

Tuna! I think Biggles would have got his butt kicked if he'd swiped that.. Thankfully it was a cheap frozen fillet.. They usually turn their noses up at fish too :p

Working today.. I will ignore the crisps.. I will ignore the crisps... :o
