Hi all
Well stayed the same again!!
I'm not hugely upset yet but if I don't lose something soon I will be. I have begun running and I now run 3 times a week as well as walking dog and cycling once a week. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there something I can do?
Shala can I have 10lbs for next challenge please?
Hope everyone else is doing well :j0 -
Credit crunched.. I understand you think/ know your lifestyle is the best lifestyle there is to lose weight etc etc but I don't really understand why you are continuing to come to this thread.
It is for people who are following or wish to follow the SW way, whether you agree with it or not. You obviously don't need to lose weight so I'm not sure why you didn't leave when you said you were going to?
I didn't take offence to anything you posted btw, however, I can't believe that your presence is anything more than antagonistic now *confused*Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Absolutely no scientific evidence for this whatsoever.
Most of us here have been around the weight-loss block a few times. Some of us are Slimming World consultants, some are medics, some in education. We are all intelligent ordinary overweight people trying to live healthier lives, and support and inspire each other through the process. Your contribution is welcome but please don't patronise.0 -

I merely stumbled upon this thread, responded to a question, then some people took unnecessary offence.
I don't proclaim to have all the answers, but I do know a bit. If I struggle in an area, I seek knowledge from people who know more like a sponge.
It just comes across that some people won't accept other views.
I apologise, if it appears patronising, I am always straight to the point. I have Lots to offer, but feel it may be better placed in a different more receptive thread.
Again, good luck with SW, but always look to challenge your own views and goals.0 -

Found this thread for you they may like your views better.

Sauce: Lean Mince, veg, passatta and herbs.
Layer of sauce, lasagnes sheets, sauce, sheets and then put fat free fromage frais and top with as much cheese as the HEA will take. Should be free.
I use premade sauces; bf has strict nutritional intake he has to adhear to as his calorie intake has to be really high but the type of food is controlled (thanks Team GB!) I've always done it that my syns go towards a lush evening meal rather than extras throughout the day. It means he's compromising and I am too on what meals we eatCredit-Crunched wrote: »"Eat clean, Train Dirty"
says a lot about your training personality. "Train dirty" on my team and I won't put you on court. Live like an athlete, train like an athlete, play like a pro...it shows three of my lads have been picked for GB elite and 3 young'uns are on the talent ID pathwayCredit-Crunched wrote: »It is quite common to lose that weight Pre fight, it's call 'the cut'. Google it. It's not weight that stays off, it's used to get into your weight category. Post scales it's back on.
Saline baths, saunas, anything to make weights!
I have no reason to fabricate.
doesn't do your general health/organs any good;and why fight at one weight and train at another?that always fascinated me. That fact that it's legal in the sport isn't really here or there; its a choice made by the individual. Bf couldn't get away with that as he's tested every three months for body fat, weight, muscle mass, max VO2 and some other things and has a dexus scan three/four times a year! Depends how involved you are with the sport I suppose and to what level you train/play.
Oh and this is the Slimming World thread; we are not cliquey but we are all following the same lifestyle choice. If you don't understand the plan we are following and the way we eat/have chosen to lose weight which works for us I suggest you do some research in to it or kindly bow out and leave us to our more relevant discussion.
Oh and creatine can play havoc with your mood/stability. It frequently make individuals more aggressive. And I know about supplements. Bf is on a tailor made routine...and I know that like teh back of my hand and why he uses each. Slow releasing carbs, fast releasing carbs, essential aminos, repair/protect supplements...blah blah blah
back to the topic at hand though; didn't get my lasgane but not the best evening ever; my mood isn't great and my throat is still off - not so much painful but I have almost no voice now! Tomorrow will be much better though
Went shopping and stocked up on fruit and veggies so will make some soup and stew and prepare some fruit for snackingfeeling positive.

Yes, look - links to articles are all very well, but it even says it's not conclusive. In any case we are not athletes looking for a temporary burst of energy whilst we lift some weights, or throw some other people around.
We are on a marathon, not a sprint! And it's definitely not a quick fix,
fake, short-term project.0 -

No sorry you do not have anything to offer this thread, we welcome everyone on here but your silly dangerous advice has made me angry, I think it is you who needs to challenge your own views and accept that your extremely unhealthy way of losing weight is not something that we would want to do. Good luck to you too but please do some research into Health because if you continue to abuse your body in this way you will not make old bones.Slimming World at target0
