I seem to do a massive shop today so all set for a good week. I bought Alpen Lights for he first time ever and enjoyed one with a cup of tea after lunch. I did enjoy it but could live without.0

OK, credit crunch, thanks for your words of wisdom but we're quite happy with Slimming World. So we'll stick with our healthy eating plan and you stick with your Thai fighting and bicarb then we'll both be happy.
er.....ok. I appreciate this is a close knit thread, but I think some of you are being a little bit precious? I am merely trying to show alternatives to help you all, pass on my knowledge. If the tone offends, then you need to understand that inflection is omitted from type, and words can often be mis read.
Most groups are welcome to new ideas and a fresh pair of eyes, it appears I have got a few backs up here, so I will move on,
Clearly you all fully understand the concepts of losing weight and weight management, and do not need any other assistance
Good luck with your endeavours, which ever routes you take. However, you won't ever beat the mantra
"Eat clean, Train Dirty"
Good luck all.0 -
Hi all
Didn't get round to posting yesterday as I was in bed by 7pm having this cold thing is miserable and the not sleeping is the worst - however the good news was I managed to sleep quite well last night so I hope I am on the mend. Hugs to others who are feeling poorly.
I weighed in this morning and had lost 4.5lbs. So can you mark that down as my final weigh in for the Autumn challenge please shala. Glad the 4lbs I gained on holiday have gone plus 0.5 of of it's pals.
For the slinky challege can you put me down for 14lbs please Shala.
did not make the challenge I set myself for Autumn but came fairly close and had a birthday plus a week's holiday in that lot so quite chuffed.
Congratulations on the losses for all the losers and loving the new target sofa we have found.

I was going to say that the tone of anything written is taken by the reader and not necessarily how intended by the writer. I didn't find the tone offensive and am interested in the creatine and bicarbonate. What do they do? Hubby takes creatine but never asked him why.
As to the keytones, obviously it's up to the individual but as we were asked our opinion I just stated they did nothing for hubby. Hope they DO work for others. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Interesting site for info on creatine I cant see how it would help with weight loss though it seems to do the opposite. I also had a look at the Ops posts on another thread, claims to be able to lose
15lbs in five days, think I will take that with a pinch of salt.

Credit - thank you for your opinion - I also find your tone offensive and tbh I'm following sw so I am not calorie counting - no interest in calorie counting or omitting food groups or types. Like u stated I was told about them by a fellow sw member - I researched it found the main user reports to be they occasionally helped with a controlled diet and reduced appetite? Those work for me. So I bought them - I will be using the alongside following sw and Through the gym - having spent 2 hours in there this morning which I normally do 3 times a week I'm definitely not taking the easy option of taking a SUPPLEMENT and hoping for the best?!

It is quite common to lose that weight Pre fight, it's call 'the cut'. Google it. It's not weight that stays off, it's used to get into your weight category. Post scales it's back on.
Saline baths, saunas, anything to make weights!
