    Morning,

Shala - You don't have to see that weight again!!! I hope you enjoy your group!

So 1.5 on for me last night. Not worrying about it as I was good and even my ankles are swollen with water retention so putting it down to pmt bloat - hopefully will be off next week.

So for me for the challenge and I'm really hoping the challenge where I see target 5 lbs please Shala!!

On a plus I can really feel my sides are firming up there isn't the jiggle that there once was - now if only the front part would do the same lol:rotfl:

Meg72 - I bet you enjoyed those Baileys, I always associate it with Christmas - I might go wild and have one this year! You deserved it after a difficult day!

Had my Chinese last night and enjoyed it.
    Back on it today

B: Oats (HEB) , Yogurt & Raspberries (Yum)

Just have to figure out lunch and dinner now - was meant to make a soup last night but was too tired.

Going away this weekend so really need to sort out what we'll be eating then!

I've sorted today so far and also made something for dinner Saturday evening but need to work out breakfasts and lunches for Sat & Sun.

    Having a Green day today:

B - porridge made with water, Mullerlight Vanilla, banana
L - omlette with mushrooms, peppers & onion
D - mixed bean goulash with rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB1 - porridge
    HEB2 - 4 Ryvita

    Syns: Butter 5.5; weekend wine

Probably won't be able to get online over the weekend so although I haven't done complete menu plans I've decided we're having beef stew (made overnight in the Slow Cooker) will have with some mash - I don't like potatoes cooked in the SC, they always seem to have a funny tang to them.

Sunday night we'll be having a roast leg of lamb - I'll cut a thick slice off it to use to make a tagine for Monday. I don't really like cold lamb and also don't want to reheat it so cutting a piece off before cooking is a good compromise to stretching the joint to 2 meals.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

  • Good morning all :)

    today:

breakfast: a crumpet with wonder bairn (5syn) and scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes and mushrooms (was supposed to be an omelette but...fail) and 1/2 HeA as cheese :)
lunch: we need to go to white rose shopping centre and as its rare bf and I both have an afternoon 'off' we are going today so I'm expecting bf to want something there; if so I'll have a baked potato with beans, though I have so much to do I'll probably just grab some fruit as it's quick and easy!
tea: lasagne we can get 6 portions out of our Dolmio lasagne dish so syns work out at 8 per portion :) think I'll get a big tomato and slice it on the top to mark out portions, also going to sneak plenty of extra veg in to the red sauce ;) I'll serve a salad as well. second half HeA in cheese on the top

ooh HeB; maybe a sandwich at lunch (homemade) or an alternative somewhere in the day

OMG so many pages to read through! Nice that this thread is so busy and supportive :)

Many congratulations on the losses durham-mim, matron midge, swiper, jock, flutterby, shell belle, joedenise, tweets & mich_city :T

Hugs to those who didn't lose - I won't list you!

Welcome muddleme and bethel and welcome back mich_city

Glad we've found a much nicer target sofa :D

Meg getting back to her wedding weight made me think about my wedding day and dress (about 3.5 years married here). The dress is a size 18 and when I got married I was at my peak weight, 1 stone heavier than when I started SW, 4 stone heavier than I am now. Also I was very early pregnant so although I hadn't gained when I bought it there was a bit of a struggle to get my boobs in there! I'm guessing I can easily get in that dress now :rotfl:

Maman - I could go to another group instead of going after the works dinner, but if I don't go to my normal one that night I won't get a free ticket for our Christmas raffle. We get two free tickets if we go that night and post a loss! I don't have anything to glam up in either :( It's really not worth me buying a new dress.

I'm on the not going side of the decision but haven't totally made my mind up. I'd rather spend that time with my family, I'm a bit of a boring homebody :D

Where are you getting so many syns for the Lasagne?

Sauce: Lean Mince, veg, passatta and herbs.

Layer of sauce, lasagnes sheets, sauce, sheets and then put fat free fromage frais and top with as much cheese as the HEA will take. Should be free.

I've just done my meal plan and had a very similar idea. I'm going to get a joint of beef and cut some off to make Szechuan beef for Monday!;)

Hope you have a good weekend. Weather for tomorrow looks good.

I'm good at making that sort of scrambled eggs too! When I've put all the veg in the pan for a Spanish omelette I can never believe it'll need the number of eggs in the recipe then it turns out like a hash!:rotfl:

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: choice of LOs! (casserole or bubble & squeak)
D: chicken jambalaya (inc. onions, peppers, carrots, courgettes, mushrooms, tomatoes)

Have you still got your wedding dress? Why not try it on just to get a kick out of it being too big?

I think it's probably worth buying something for Christmas whether it's for home or going out. Just something cheap like a top to wear on Christmas Day. I've still failed to find the dress in M&S that's in the magazine. I had a mooch around the shops yesterday but nothing took my fancy. Maybe there'll be more around after Halloween's out of the way or maybe shops are being careful as they know people are reluctant to spend.
  • Hi.
I've been and done the shopping and have treated myself to the new Hairy Dieters book (3rd one) it has some fantastic recipies in it which will easily convert to SW. Can't wait to get stuck in! I have all of their dieters books and their recipies are really yummy.
Chicken and new pots with salad for lunch and curry (packed with sf) with rice for tea along with some SW baked egg custards that I'm trying out.
    Have a good day x
