So, my usual attack to the colds used to be hot water with lemon and honey - what is the slimming world alternative, as honey will soon blow all my syns! (And please do not suggest ginger - I hate the taste of fresh ginger!)
I use the cheapo sugar free lemonade with a couple of paracetamal.Slimming World at target0 -
Awh I hope not - I hate it when they reinvent things every so often!!! Our takeaways have already changed a chow mein more than doubled.
Feeling yuck today, proper yuck. Pmtand I had a little cry last night about my dog who is dead a year - feeling drained and not very social today
Maman - There is a chicken curry in the Chinese with my name on it tonight. I deserve it and its been a while!!
Looking forward to finding out what my target will be for the challenge tonight thought. Prob a sts or small gain for me tonight but not worried : )
Aww babe feeling for you, enjoy your Chinese and hope you feel better soon. Take another photo or better still stand in front of your mirror and tell yourself how awesome you are to have had such a fantastic achievement. I think you are a lovely caring supportive person who deserves to be happy.Slimming World at target0 -

whole meal bread is nice when you bake it yourself I'm not so sure about half and half though. I love home baked bread. Just try it and enjoy !0 -
Thank you Meg72 - trust me I will be happy later when I am at home eating my Chinese and watching something silly : )0

Right got back home today after an unexpected trip to my Brother`s yesterday legal things to sort out regarding my Mums estate and as I didn't want to arrive back in the dark stayed the night.
Quite an emotional time having to go solicitors make a statement etc
so my Brother, SIL and niece shared a whole cream sponge, strangely it wasn't as good as I thought I remembered it being, think all these months of healthy eating have changed my taste buds.
In the evening 3 tall glasses of Baileys and Ice, now that I could get addicted to. but cant afford expensive addictions so think I am safe:rotfl:Slimming World at target0 -
Thanks for the advice re bread.... Will give it a shot next week

Hi all
Wondering if I could join your next challenge? Been a sw member for a few months but have yo-yo'ed due to hols and birthdaysneed that extra bit of motivation!
PS. I'm brand spanking new to these boards which is probably obvious! So if how to get involved is written somewhere I'm sorry for missing it0 -

You'd be very welcome I'm sure. If you just post on here what you'd like to lose in time for Christmas then the lovely shala will add you to the list ready for when the next challenge starts next week I think. Then keep posting your losses weekly and, if you've time, call in regularly to chat about how things are going. Many of us post our menus too.
Hope you get good news about the job lush. The Coronation tuna is 1 syn for a 80g tin. What's it like?
wiz, all I've ever used the soft cheese for is putting on crackers/Ryvita or stirring through pasta or you could put it on a baked potato. You can mix in things like spring onions too. I suppose you could have it on toast like you've had your cottage cheese. Hopefully more ideas will come along very soon.
:Ton all the losses. Strange how we get bothand
for identical losses. There's no pleasing some people!! Remember it all counts, even STS has to be better than a gain.
