    Hi all :)

Wondering if I could join your next challenge? Been a sw member for a few months but have yo-yo'ed due to hols and birthdays :( need that extra bit of motivation!

PS. I'm brand spanking new to these boards which is probably obvious! So if how to get involved is written somewhere I'm sorry for missing it :)

    Welcome bethal :hello:

You are most welcome to join the slinky santa challenge :D

Roast lamb with roast veg (carrots, onions, parsnips, butternut squash) for dinner here and I am feeling horrible! I think it is the first birthday that I remember being ill, hate it!

Hope you get good news about the job lush. The Coronation tuna is 1 syn for a 80g tin. What's it like?

not as good as I was hoping/anticipating but a nice change to plain tuna; it is very wet though so can make for messy eating if you're not careful! I expected it to be more syns than that though so I'm happy

have had a second bowl of pasta and cheese (15g) so thats an extra 3 syns there

    so today:
breakfast: heb cereal (2 wheat biscuits) and 1/2 hea milk
lunch:low fat super noodles, fat free natural yogurt, apple
tea:pasta and cheese (1/2 HEA plus extra 15g at 3syn) - this is one of my stand by 'poorly teas' seeing as I'm feeling sorry for myself after my somewhat less than chipper day at work (but I'm feeling as positive as I can) and feeling pants with a throat like I've swallowed a handful of swords :/

day off tomorrow so I'm going to enquire about a couple of positions tomorrow and keep my employment options open; we can't afford for me to lose job security so i need to be prepared just in case :/

also get to go grocery shopping at last!

Well done to all winners of SOTW and other losers. I've had a really bad week, I knew it was going to be bad, hence the really hard push last week. It's been one thing after another, after being away a few days, I haven't shopped properly had takeaway fish and chips and lunches plus a whole heap of other junk. I'll be out and about most of this weekend too with a bank holiday on Monday which will add to the damage.

I have weighed myself this morning instead of tomorrow, thus ending this challenge with 2.5lbs to be added back on. :(

I'll check in again on Monday or Tuesday with a new target for Slinky Santa challenge.
