Be Awesome in Autumn with Slimming World

I'm going to do roasted veg for tea, to go with some Linda McCartney rosemary & red onion sausages. Feeling tired and very lazy so I can just about cope with chopping some veg!
Thought I'd share my lunch with you all - it has to be fairly balanced, SW friendly, BLW friendly (baby led weaning so big bits he can pick up but soft enough to chew on) and satisfy a toddler who knows her own mind
So today we had sweet potato chips roasted in frylight (toddler refused these), boiled carrot batons and broccoli florets, microwave golden vegetable rice (all peas picked out for toddler) and quorn roast chicken slices. Toddler had to have grated cheese on top of hers. Plus while I was out of the room getting the bowl for me and baby she started feeding baby brother her broccoli.
Then I get BM tidying up all the food that surrounds the two of them. Toddler is pretty good but some rice always escapes off her spoon. Baby was surrounded by part chewed bits of food  He had a whale of a time though!
Just 2 syns for the rice on Green and EE if anyone thinks it sounds like a marvelous meal they must try :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Have you still got your wedding dress? Why not try it on just to get a kick out of it being too big?
I had thought about it, but it's one of those weird brain things where you still think you are the size you were - I keep thinking if I put it on it will still fit me rather than be hanging off my smaller body :rotfl:
I missed the sneaking in as well...

To be fair yes Diet & Exercise is the only way, however when you get to our stage in this game Mildredd has shifted over 5 and I over 6 stone and you are literally fighting to get the last few pounds off it gets very difficult and as you ramp up your diet and exercise plan to be more intense it can get very frustrating. The lbs aren't flying off us as they used to and we used to be big losers every week - because we are nearly there and don't have much more to lose.
Raspberry Ketones are legally sold and there is no health concerns so why not try them if you want too. Who can say if they work or not for sure but I think why not, what works for one may not work for another and vice versa! If they give you a helping hand then why not - its not instead of a healthy diet and exercise its in addition!!
Open minds and all that.0 -
I've had 1 - I now have raspberry burps
Beautiful :rotfl:
Mildredd, they may work psychologically so no harm in trying them now you've bought them.. hope they help!
I've picked up everyone's targets to here.. and everyone's results for the week for the Autumn challenge.

Well done on your losses, and it should be commended. The OP asked if Rasberry Ketones work, and I was responding to the question. There is no solid evidence that they work, other than a small bit of evidence used (rats fed on a very very high cholesterol diet)
Yes, they may be legally sold, but so are many other food items that would be of more use.
I stand by my statement, that if you cant shift the last few pounds, drop some of your calorie intake, and increase your aerobic and anaerobic output. That is the only sure fire way to lose weight.
I know it may sound cold and harsh, but it's not meant to.
When I am not competing I am around 90kg, however, when I compete (Muay thai fighter) I drop to 80kg!
So my diet has to be nailed on and watch every calorie that goes in. I've trained hard all my life, seen every fad know to man, and still can't see any benefits other than hard work!
Only 2 supplements have any credible evidence behind improving workouts, losing weight. That is creatine and Bicarb of Soda! (serioulsy, but boy do you need a solid stomach)

a sts for me this week. Once again missed getting in to the 16 stones zone! Grrr
Had a lovely time in Amsterdam, apart from the ferry crossing back, through that hurricane. Never felt so sick in my life.
12lb for me for the slinky challange Shala
Due to the 4.5lb gain I had on my holidays I did shocking in the last challenge. Fingers crossed for this one.0 -

Sorry I thought this was a Slimming World thread - we don't count calories here.
I find your tone offensive0 -
I actually asked yesterday did they work found no responses
So thought bog it this morning it worked for someone at my sw group I'm gonna buy em and try em. I have researched them and yes there's been no human studies but in those rats that where eating higher calorie stuff it counter acted - a bad week by my own admission so if it can prevent some weight going on then good
Coincidentally I weighed in at the gym today - to get the body fat ratio
It's average from someone who was morbidly obese a year ago ill take an average fat ratio and 1 point about a normal bmi
Shala - I have serious burpage going on
Credit - thank you for your opinion - I also find your tone offensive and tbh I'm following sw so I am not calorie counting - no interest in calorie counting or omitting food groups or types. Like u stated I was told about them by a fellow sw member - I researched it found the main user reports to be they occasionally helped with a controlled diet and reduced appetite? Those work for me. So I bought them - I will be using the alongside following sw and Through the gym - having spent 2 hours in there this morning which I normally do 3 times a week I'm definitely not taking the easy option of taking a SUPPLEMENT and hoping for the best?!Started sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

OK, credit crunch, thanks for your words of wisdom but we're quite happy with Slimming World. So we'll stick with our healthy eating plan and you stick with your Thai fighting and bicarb then we'll both be happy.0
