Still having problems getting back into the plan -

That doesn't sound like you denise, your amazing monthly meal plan usually comes to the rescue. Good luck for a low syn day today.:)
Well I joined SW last week, only man in our group!

Where are you getting the info on this free Christmas Cookbook if you buy a six week plan? Is it from next week only as I was going to buy a six week plan tonight.

    Today

FF Fromage Frais, Fresh Raspberries and Bran Flakes (B)
    Lasagne (A) & mullerlight
Bacon, tinned tomatoes, sausage (3), SW Fried Potatoes, Beans

Weight seems to have dropped off me this week, about 8lbs
:Ton joining SW and welcome to the thread jock. Your consultant should have info about the Christmas Countdown. If she hasn't heard yet you could delay buying your 6 week plan for a week or so.

Just looking at your menu, I'm assuming you're counting the cheese in the lasagne as your HEA. Is it homemade?

You could be a bit low on superfrees as it looks like just raspberries and tinned tomatoes and whatever's in your lasagne.

Which sausages are 3 syns or is it three sausages? There are heaps of tasty low syn sausages around. My favourites are the 1 syn Sainsbury's be Good to Yourself Cumberland.

You don't seem to have many syns for the day. Are you saving them?

Sorry for all the questions, hope you don't mind.:o

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs
L: Jacket potato, cottage cheese, spring onions, beetroot
D: sausage, mash, cauli, broccoli, carrots, peas, onions
    Syns: gravy, squirt of HP

I got a message telling me to go to weigh in soon when I logged on to SW website so now I'll have to face the music on Thursday or I'll be excommunicated!;)

My consultant says I get 15 syns, they're two little chiploata and the app says 1.5 each.

My weigh in is tonight so if there is no mention of the Christmas Countdown I'll wait until next week as the facebook page said there would be a Christmas theme next week.

I am fairly light on Syns, I have to admit I struggle to use them as most of the recipes (lasagne home made, healthy extra cheese and fat free fromage frais) seem to be very light on syns.

I have just eaten 2 jaffa cakes though (5 syns) and will probably have some ketchup wih tea, maybe some fat free yoghurt with a fudge highlights mixed in (2) and then have a bag of flying saucers.

I like to hold onto them in case I get tempted over the course of the day but then I struggle to use them.

In all honesty I'm missing some filling syn snacks that are about 2 or 3, a fudge bar for 5.5 doesn;t seem good value to me.

Not that low on superfree, I have 4 plums, an apple and 2 oranges in and often snack of fruit and salad bits.

I think the offer of the free Christmas book if you buy a 12 week countdown starts on 13 October until 3 November, not sure about getting the book with a 6 week countdown though, your consultant would know.

Oh that's great. 15 a day is standard for syns so you can't have too much to lose. Sorry about the SFs but I was just going on what you'd written down.

Most of us prioritise syns so while some might prefer to have chocolate or biscuits, others (like me:o) prefer to save them up for wine at weekends or an off plan meal out. Each to his own.:)

Maman - it's not the meals that are the problem - it's the syns! Wine, chocolate, popcorn - you name it I'm eating it. Have been OK today so far, breakfast and lunch as per plan. Dinner will also be as planned. No syns so far today - just snacked on banana & grapes.

Biggest problem seems to be in the evening when I'm sitting down watching TV!

Hi and welcome Jock... you'll find your first week will usually be quite a high loss so good luck for your weigh in tonight!

Some consultants say different things so whilst one consultant might not agree with saving syns another will agree with it. I would imagine the official SW line is not to save syns.. i say do what works for you if it means you'll stick to it.

Welcome Jock :) I think you may be the only man on here too but you are very welcome to join us. There's about 7 men in my group but they tend to stick together in the corner!

Official policy is not to save your syns. A lot of people do it though ;)

Frogga, I weigh myself until I get 2 weights the same, lol. Usually just the two goes, but sometimes it can vary wildly!

Meg, my weekend was rather like yours! And it’s +2lbs for me this week. :o

    Hurrah for Lioness and b¬¬_e_g!

Commiserations to the rest of you.

    Hello and welcome jock!

Well here’s the plan for Tuesday.

Breakfast: strawberry light fruitopolis (0.5 syn), banana
Lunch: baked potato with mixed pepper and tomato sauce, hexa cheddar, grapes
    Dinner: chicken curry with rice

I’ve had no snacks (so far) and with a lot of running around to do this afternoon, I’m not likely to have any this afternoon either, thank goodness. No doubt I’ll have something this evening.

    Be strong, everyone.
