Well, you knew someone had to pick up frogga's -3lb & unfortunately it was me :(+3lbs please, shala :oThat's me +1lb overall for the challenge :wall:

I'll try harder this week (been doing a lot of stress eating over the last week or so) but won't post menus for the time being. I'll keep reading though.

Well done to the losers & STS :T

Very charitable of you Pink poppy - i'm sure frogga appreciates it ;)

Wasn't best behaved over the weekend so i'm not eating too much today.. i still feel full so it's no great harm..

OH has decided he's going swimming nearly every night up till xmas:eek: i shall be joining him (work permitting) as i've just looked at myself in the work toilets and i just look like a blob :( swimming should help tone up as well as lose weight :T

Our aim is to lose a stone for xmas, it follows my plan to lose a lb a week so i'm ok with that (secretly hoping for more though!:D)

    menu today then
    B - banana
    L - WW soup (3?)
T - boiled ham, baby potatoes, loads of carrots
HE's - ryvita if needed, milk in tea

    Afternoon all

Had a DREADFUL weekend (which started Friday). I cannot even begin to list what I ate. Actually, I am somewhat overstating, it wasn't that bad but wasn't on plan. Never mind, today is the start of a brand new week, my head is in the right place and I had a mammoth bike ride yesterday. 25 miles - including hills! That, combined with a good week should give me a decent loss next week. Pre-weigh in weigh shows I have STS but I will formally announce tomorrow.

    Today's menu:

    B - Fruit and yoghurt (2)
    L - Salmon flakes and salad (2.5)
D - Grilled chicken kebabs with vegetables and rice
Snack - Fat Free Muller yoghurt

    Sysn - 4.5
  • Interesting article from the Mail.

I always include something nice in my weekly diet and this seems to prove that eating our Syns is indeed a good thing - something I had real trouble getting my head round.

That's what's in my slow cooker today :D (it's Chilli, made with lean pork mince)

On another note - SW is soooooooo much easier, on non work days :D I'm at 4 syns for the whole day, that doesn't happen on a work day!

    Today is:

B: Toast, marmite, flora light 5g of peanut butter (finally finished the jar, it's not sitting looking at me, I'm not buying more for a bit)
L: HM Lentil & bacon soup (carrots, peppers, onions, celery) and some leftover potatoes, roasted for dipping in.
D: SW Spaghetti Carbonara with salad
    S: Toffee/Hazelnut thing.

I made a toffee hazelnut thing... I mixed a sachet of hazelnut highlights with Quark, then layered it into a glass with toffee yoghurt (made two out of it) and then sprinkled the last of the sachet on top... nom :D
Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T
    Autumn Challenge - 11 lbs /14 :T

Shala - re the crisps debate

No I kind of just sat there watching x factor satisfied with my decision and thinking about what flavour I would have had if I had of gone for them. I decided upon Roast Chicken. Then I decided that if I didn't have a loss on Thursday I would have blamed it on the hypothetical bag of Roast Chicken Crisps.

BTW I would never normally go for Roast Chicken Crisps - ever they are one of my least favourite!!

I go to bed sometimes and think about all the things I would eat if I was on my last day on earth!

I am turning into a mental case lol :rotfl:
  • Just back from weigh in.......0.5lb off. That's my grand total for the past two weeks.

I am still hormonal, and the medication I am on is notorious for weight gain so I know I should be pleased with that, a loss is still a loss, but I'm a bit gutted to be honest. Think I will be hitting that gym tomorrow, fingers crossed that will help things along a bit

I used to love the roast chicken flavour walkers, they were my favourite. Then they decided to put real chicken in them and I'm veggie :(

I guess that's a help when it comes to SW - less temptation :D

  • The pan haggerty is scrummy. Family have requested it again so it must be. Very SW friendly too so all in all a huge success.
