Very busy weekend so didn't get the chance to post.

Annie glad DS is home from hospital and given the all clear.

Hugs to all of you with the lurgy. Congratulations for the losers, good luck for next week for the STS and those who have gained.

Right onwards and upwards need to get my butt in gear as two boys to get ready for school and me to get ready for work.

    Morning lovelies :)

Also had a very busy weekend with my little man's Christening and seeing family and friends who were visiting. Tried to stay on plan. Lots of salad and crudites and I made a ton of sandwiches for the buffet after with a mix of white and wholemeal bread and two types of cheese ones so I could have sandwiches as my HEs.

So I actually ate the white bread egg mayo ones :o. But did eat a lot of the chopped veg to try and balance it out a bit!

Saw lots of people I hadn't seen for a while so there were a few comments about how good I was looking, although my MIL seemed very worried that I wasn't eating until she saw me hitting the buffet table with a vengeance :D

Congrats to all the losers. Tried to catch up but there's loads on here, I just know there's been some really good losses and our totals on Shala's chart are really impressive so well done all :T

  • Morning you lovely lot. Hope everyone is well and ready for the week ahead. Well done to all you losers and hugs to everyone else :j

Annie great to hear your son is ok

Durham Min and Greentiger I really used to be plagued by migraines, you can get something from the Doctor, it's a wafer, and if you put it on your tongue within the first hour it stops it. Don't ask me how, but it's miraculous!! Alka Selzer can be pretty effective if you can get in there quickly. I also take beta blockers every day and now hardly ever get them. I suffered for a long time though, unnecessarily!

Had a very lazy day yesterday, bit ashamed of myself today to be honest. I could have been away to the gym. Thats my commitment to myself for this week, is going to the gym at least 3 times. It costs enough so I might as well use it!

Today is weigh in day, I've made concious effort in the last week to have at least 2 superspeed foods every day so I'll be interested to see how that's turned out and if it's boosted me at all.

    Today is EE:

b: beans on toast (HEXB) with grilled tomatoes
l: mugshot and babybels (HEXA) fruit and yog
d: pasta bolognaise, with petit pois and broccoli as my superfree

I caught the Twix advert last night and had a hankering for one ever since so that will be my syns for the day and my post weigh in treat!

Have a lovely day everyone xxx
  • Hi everyone. Great to hear most of you are doing ok.
I'm really struggling at the moment, we went out to eat on Friday and Saturday and of course there was the inevitable booze to syn. The trouble is that I find it so difficult to get back to sw eating afterwards - any tips please. The problem is that biscs, crisps just creep into my mouth the day after and I can't seem to control myself.
    My intention today is
    HE a milk
    HE b hifi bar
    B banana and muller
    L chicken, couscous and salad/pickles
D hairy dieters pan haggerty (adapted for SW) (6) if I put cheese on, strawbs
    Evening snack hifi bar

Thanks for the help Daisy, but my migraine is the result of cutting down on my anti-hystamines. I take them over the summer for hayfever and then gradually cut down and cut them out over the winter, but it plays havoc with my sinus' and I end up with migraines.

    Red Day:

B: GF cereal(B1), BD milk (A1). Tea with milk.
L: Prawns, cockles, mussels & stir fried cabbage. Pineapple. Tea with milk.
D: Roast chicken, mashed celeriac & swede (2 for butter), 4 x veg. Gravy (2). GF pink wafer (3) , 2 x GF choc fingers. Tea with milk.

    S: Cocoa.
    BM: Callanetics

The only way for me to get back on SW after the weekend is to make sure I've planned the meals for the week ahead and stick to it. I also don't usually keep "treats" in the house that I like - although at the moment I've still got popcorn left which we bought whilst on holiday (a huge tub of it!) - there's still about half a tub left but I usually just have 25g for 5.5 syns and you get loads for 25g. I eat it very slowly one piece at a time, even those little bits left at the bottom of the bowl:rotfl:.
