Having another EE day today, had originally planned on a Red day today but have had to change it as need to use up leftovers from last night which is definitely EE - it's a sort of enchilada but made with rolled up lasagne sheets filled with a chicken & spicy tomato sauce. Will definitely make it again but will buy some cannelloni tubes before I do - rolling softened lasagne sheets isn't easy!

    B - toasted bacon & mushroom sandwich
L - LO enchilada type thing (as above)
D - squash with Japanese meat sauce

Need to go shopping as need some more fruit and it's market day today. Also need to get some Mirin for the Japanese sauce - if I can't get it I'll just use some white wine with sweetner.

Morning ladies. My reply box has gone screwy as well so I can't see who had got losses! Congratulations though :T

My WI tonight so shall be positively angelic today! Still amazed I got any kind of a loss last week so this week hoping for something a bit more than half a pound, but so long as it keeps going in the right direction I will be happy :)

I'm going to talk to my consultant soon and revise my target. I realised what I have been working to is just 2.5lb above getting a 5 stone shiny, and I'd love that shiny!! This means I'm half way to target now and should be over half way tonight :D I still don't know if it's achievable really, but would like to try. It would get me very nicely into the healthy weight range but it's not at the bottom which is unrealistic for me. We shall see when I get closer what I can do.

Does anyone know what happens if you buy a countdown at class and your club 10 week comes in the middle of it? I presume it gets added onto the end or something? I like to pay for 6 weeks at a time cos it's cheaper, but my free week will be in 3/4 weeks.

Slimming World ~ trying to get back on the wagon...
  • Morning lovelies. Had a good long think last night, am properly fed up at the fact that I've only lost 0.5lbs in the first two weeks. Even with external issues of medication, I should have done better than that!!! I have been having bread every day, I'm going to try cutting it out this week, and upping the body magic, to see if that has an effect.

    Today is EE:

b: bran flakes with milk (HEXA and HEXB)
l: noodles with superfree veg, fruit and yog
    d: quorn bolognaise

Not sure what to spend my syns on yet, have a night out at the weekend so think I might just try and save up as much as possible for then!!

Have a lovely day folks xx
  • frogga 3 I’m in awe of your strength of mind! wishus, that’s brill! Daisy, better off than on ;), Saver – you’re a star

Pink poppy, that was very generous of you helping out our little green friend. That’s your good deed over for this challenge. Unless you’d like to help me?

    wizkid, every little helps :)

Crabapple, glad you enjoyed the celebrations.

Glad you’re back in the groove, lantana.

Daisy, thanks for the info re migraine relief. What helped me was an anti snore pillow that I bought for DH. He didn't like it :( but I thought I'd see what it was like. I think it kind of keeps my head in alignment with the rest of me, but I don't really know. After I started using it the frequency of migraines dropped sharply. Since I stopped work (not an option for many people) I now rarely get them. When I do, they come out of the blue. They still are of the variety that don't let me sleep them off :( I need dark and total quiet. But at least I don't get sick :)

Lioness, I’m having a much needed lie down after reading about your bike ride!

Oh tweets, I’m with you on the nose blowing - I know exactly where you’re coming from!

Shala, you’ve reinforced my belief that exercise is bad for you! (Actually I’m very impressed with your efforts.)

Please post a2 lb loss for me, Shala. That's me back to square one, so now the challenge begins! Thanks for keeping us on track.

I've not posted yesterday's menu as it anounts to SW !!!!!! (almost) ;).

This is leftovers week - really should have been last week, but the end of the month crept up on me as usual.

    Tuesday Menu
Breakfast: hexb muesli with a splash of hexa milk.
Lunch: bacon, egg, beans (and tomatoes, if I move myself to go shopping for fresh stuff)
Dinner: steak, chips & veg (to be decided when I see them)

    Good luck everyone. Be strong!

I get sick from them :( it's horrible, i literally can't even keep water down so taking tablets is just pointless, as they come straight back up (TMI?:rotfl:)

I've found the cool pads that you put on your forehead pretty good for taking the pain down a little bit, it definitely gives a bit of relief..

the pain is easing a little now :rotfl: so much that i am considering joining OH for another attempt tonight.. we'll see  i might get home, in my pyjamas and forget there's an outside world!

Daisy - sorry to hear you're disappointed.. medication sounds really annoying if you're trying to lose weight

Daisy - your menu is very much a Green day so you could have another HEA and HEB if you wanted to. How about some parmasan grated/sliced on top of your bolognaise?

I try to vary my HEBs a bit which seems to work with shifting a bit of weight when you seem to be losing slowly. This is often one of the challenges our consultant mentions - ie trying to have a completely different HEB (or 2 if doing Green day) every day of the week. There are so many choices for HEB it's a good challenge to do from time to time.

  • Crabapple - you just add it on when your countdown runs out but you may have to remind your consultant as mine forgot conveniently
