Congratulations on your loss, Lauri. That bug is a nasty one, sorry it’s got you too.

durham – I hate migraines; nothing helps to get rid of them :(

Annie, delighted your son is fine :):):)

Wow, meg, that’s amazing saving! Hope it’s not taken too much out of you.

    wizkid, I’m agog!

Anyway, I still have the cold, but I think it is beginning to shift. However, I think it's affected my brain. I did an online shop last night (bear in mind I've not really done any shopping all week) and it was delivered today. The only food I bought was grapes, fruitopolis, salmon, milk, cereal and butter. Oh and (for 2 of us) a 3kg bag of pasta shells! What was I thinking - especially as I had a full 1kg bag in the cupboard? It is enormous!!!!! I bought a lot of toiletries, toilet paper and a huge bag of IAMs for the cat (and no wet cat food, of course. No useful tins in there either. DH went out to supplement this daft shop and came back with 2 x 2 portion Tesco Finest strawberry & prosecco trifle (he thought they looked wee), bananas, clementines and a large wholemeal loaf. Oh well, 3 out of 4 is ok. I guess I'll be shopping again soon.

    Anyway today's consumption was

Breakfast: hexb muesli, pear, splash hexa milk
Lunch: baked potato, tuna, lo mayo (1 syn), spring onion, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, strawberry fruitopolis (0.5 syn)
Snack: Borders lemon drizzle biscuit (some syns - anyone know how many?)
Dinner: SW chicken papardelle (made with pasta shells, what a surprise),trifle (loads of syns, I'm sure, even though it was only a very wee portion).
I'll have some fruit for supper.

I'd like to say tomorrow will be better, but we are having friends for dinner, before heading out to see James Taylor. My friend has insisted on bringing dessert. I have told her to bring something chocolatey, but she knows I don't like that, so she will probably bring something else. Fingers crossed.

Night all. Stay stronger than me.

    Thanks, MupElle.

Tempted to choose the lowest syns, lol ;) I'll go for 4 syns, as that seem to be the commonest.
Tell you what, 4 is good value for dark chocolate gingers ........ about the same as a choc digestive.

    Happy Monday People,

Well, just jumped on scales again to report a loss for week 4 of -3lb please Shala xx

Am pleased with that as I'm now 16st 9lb, which means a loss of 16lb since we started 4 weeks ago. My aim was to be in the 15st's by the end of the challenge, so only 10lb to go, which is doable at 2.5lb a week?

Had a couple of 'near misses' with regards to falling off the wagon this week ~

    1. I made Smash Pizza for lunch at work. They looked and smelled great, but tasted revolting so they went straight in the bin, which meant I only had an apple for lunch. But I didn't binge when I got in...

    2. Then when I did get in, I put a large jacket in the oven, took the hound out for a walk, then when I got home, the oven element had blown, so no jacket! But I didn't binge, I had boiled...

    3. Ate a yogurt for tea and then realised that I had picked FF Activia off the shelf but not 0%! So I threw the remainder away, and I still didn't binge...

I did sulk a lot though about all 3 episodes ;)

Hope you are all well. Haven't been reading, just this quick post, but I do think about you all, and I will have a good long read at half term when I get a free day. No doubt I shall then find out that 1 of you has hit target, 1 of you has been sacked from your job, 1 of you has won the lotto, and 1 of you now dresses as a man and wants to be called Nigel.

    Have a good day

Well done to all the losers; hugs to those who need them.

Got up early this morning as couldn't stop coughing, which has definitely been better since I got up.

Had far too many syns over the weekend so need to rein it back in again between now and WI on Thursday am (although I may not actually go this week as can't get to my usual group). I've got 21.5 syns left so 7 a day - definitely doable.

B - porridge made with water; Mullerlight Vanilla; banana
L - More LO pork & bean stew! Getting fed up with it now but no freezer space so needs eating.
D - something with chicken, pasta & tomatoes!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - 2 for sausage in the stew; may also syn some cheese if I decide to put on top of dinner tonight.

Well, you knew someone had to pick up frogga's -3lb & unfortunately it was me :(+3lbs please, shala :oThat's me +1lb overall for the challenge :wall:

I'll try harder this week (been doing a lot of stress eating over the last week or so) but won't post menus for the time being. I'll keep reading though.

Well done to the losers & STS :T
