Is it possible that she knows you don't seem to like her?

Grow up. Until i read the part about retired I assumed that you were 2 teenagers.

I would suggest that you don't really want her as a friend. Tell her and move on.

    You sound very bitter.

    You are very childish.

I really really wouldn't want a person like you as a friend.

I would never slag a friend off like that, and I would expect them not to slag me off either, if so, they are not going to have the pleasure of my friendship for long. I give 100% loyalt and its exactly what I expect back.

You really need to grow up, and fast.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I can only concur with the posters above. I thought the OP was written by a 13 year old to be honest. The content of it is the same kind of tittle tattle and pettiness that my daughter and her (ex) friends used to come out with in year 9 at school!

I think you and this woman should not be friends Scarlet, and you do sound very childish. I am guessing you are near retirement age too?

Wow, this is a very childish rant op.

However annoyed you may be with your friend, whether it's justified or not, why on earth would you go telling tales to her husband and colleagues of yours who once knew her? Seriously, that is unbelievably pathetic.

Either be friends with her or don't, but don't be such a playground taletit trying to get one up on her to make yourself look better and hard done by

The immaturity coming through OP's posts is unbelievable for an adult of any age. I'm not sure whether OP's looking for drama in her life by turning a very mundane occurrence into a soap opera or is genuinely so immature that she thinks her own behaviour is acceptable. The bit abut refusing to sit next to her in the theatre beggared belief.

Is this the same "boring" friend from a few months ago?

Thought I'd read about the xmas cards and lonely friend before.

OP, not only are you awfully childish but a dreadful gossip to boot. I bet your friends who know your other friend through work know that already.
