  • We have an AIP with Halifax already.

95% Mortgage on the Help to Buy 2 Scheme.

Full application will be done tomorrow.

Not holding out much hope as we are asking for £218k as first time buyers with a combined income of nearly £60k.

    Hii!!

Completely bemused with all this mortgage speak.

We're first time buyers, and (typical of a male, ha!) my other half has left me to do all the paperwork and sorting out. :rotfl:

    8/9/14: Offer accepted on property.
    9/9/14: DIP completed.
    9/9/14: Full application submitted.
    9/9/14: Valuation fee paid.

Now we're just playing a waiting game, estate agents asked me for a name for our solicitors I don't even know, the mortgage brokers sorting it all out for us!

    16/9/14 Lender survey done
    29/9/14 Mortgage offer confirmation!

We have our letter :] So pleased, a stress has been taken away.

Valuation rescheduled from today to tomorrow now! Grrr!

Checked credit report again which shows an 'enquiry' from yesterday. Assuming this may be the hard search as it's reduced my Experian score.

I'm hoping that if this was done yesterday and I've not heard there is an issue pre-evaluation then we're on track for a mortgage offer! Wishful thinking perhaps :)

Id love to answer this for you but unfortunately I'm in Scotland and the vendors provide a home report so we so we don't have valuations!
