Evening All :) Update as follows!

Called yesterday from Halifax processing team saying that they have had to request an employment reference for my other half as he is weekly paid, and also has weekly overtime, weekly bonus & weekly shift allowance therefore they need set in stone figures from his employer. She did confirm that everything looks set to go once they get this and that there are no affordability issues etc. Other halfs employer been in touch to say they will be faxing over the documents to Halifax tomorrow so fingers crossed! Although Halifax said that we may still have another 2 weeks to wait until out case comes up in her queue again? So will be chasing for an answer as FTB we are in rented accommodation it looks like we may have to put the move date forward 4 weeks :(

    Updated time time below:

13/08 - AIP with Halifax - called direct to them
    16/08 - Full Application
18/08 - Sent Pay Slips etc over
20/08 - Contact from Halifax saying to resend as fax docs were unreadable
27/08 - Contact from Halifax confirming docs arrived and to be processed
29/08 - Called to complaints after 4 hours trying to get through as processing extremely busy & told someone will be verifying my details on Monday 1 Sep & will be called with an update
01/09 - Call from Halifax processing team to advise of employer reference for other half but that is all that is holding it up.

Apparently it doesn't always go to an underwriter is that correct? The lady told me that once they reference is there and she enters the figures we should be good to go?

More sleepless nights!! Im exhausted & will never go though this again if I can help it!!xx
