Hola Beauty Queens
Long time no see! I hope all are well, I have briefly skim-read for the past couple of weeks but little has penetrated my brain so apologies of I have missed happies, sads, congrats and commiserations!
I have been amassing a small pile of UU to report.
Nice n Easy Semi Permanent Dye in Black; WBA, HG. Think I forgot to post these INs, I picked up a brace in Superdrug when they were BOGOF, so just over £2 each :money:
Dove Original Cream Bar 100g; WBA, and will have to as I have run out  At one point I had about a dozen of these stashed so that's definitely progress.
Lacura Aqua Complete Serum 30ml; WMBA, have been using this in the mornings and it sinks in nicely. I have the one in the goldy packaging for mature skin to try next, thinking of doing an experiment with this and my EL ANR, half a face of each for a couple of weeks and see if I can spot the difference
AquaV ProRevive Body Wash 300ml; WBA, Aldi cheapie Dove rip off, smelled lovely and lathered beautifully with a scrubby puff.
Lacura Roll On in Clear 50ml; WBA, keeps me fresh and cheap as chips.
Anna Sui Forbidden Affair EDT 50ml; WNBA, bought this on a half price whim from Superdrug as the smell reminded me of something from my childhood(?!), nice enough but a bit too sweet and girly, much like I was as a childruby_eskimo wrote: »Oh and I've had to stop using the FAB radiance pads as my skin was breaking out so much more than usual. Have gone back to the routine I was using and everything seems to be a lot better at the moment. The spots are still there but they aren't multiplying anymore and they seem a lot calmer. Might just use them once a week from now on rather than once a day.
I'm very much in the same boatMy face is a right bleedin' mess, covered in spots and clogged pores. I have been using the Elemis Tri Enzyme wash for ages so I didn't think that the AHAs would cause me to purge but I have persevered for as long as I can stand and will be putting the FAB pads aside. I'm also getting near the end of my No7 hot cloth cleanser and will be going back to the Superdrug Naturally Radiant one when it's done as I think that might be contributing.

Thank heavens I haven't tried the FAB pads, I have enough problems with breakouts as it is. Hope your skin settles for both of you quickly.
Shower gel makes a lovely bubble bath too.
And - Fantastic weight loss, well done. I have lost a ton of weight this year so far and the way I feel now is worth more than any cake. It is a lifestyle choice though there is not an option of going 'back to normal' when you get to your goal.
I have saved up all my empties this month and am going to take a picture of them now (before DH gets home - he wouldn't understand) and post it up. I have had a load this month but some of them have been in use for a good long while.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

An unexpected UU at lunchtime, Dove Warm Vanilla Body Cream. WDBA – it smelled lovely and as nice and moisturising. I would be happy to have another UU, but now I have no body lotion in my gym bag! If I'd have known it was so low I would have got some more at the weekend. No more goo hoarding!

recounted up my soap stash not very exciting but have UU 2 bars since last soap tally and UU a lacura serum, ok did the job and cheap as its from adli, container was a pain to get the last bit out of as its a glass bottle with a pump so resorted to digging it out with the 'straw' part of the dispenser and smearing it over with that.SPC~12 ot 124

Lancome genifique serum - small bottle
Lancome eye cream - small pot
Lancome night cream - small ish pot
Hypnose mascara
Lancome lipstick
plus the bi-facil which is what I bought the set for in the first place!
They're getting used up pretty quick as they're lovely products so don't think they'll be hanging around for long!
Oh I LOVE Lancome, I had to stop myself getting the latest offer as I have enough of everything and would only be buying for the sake of it!city_girl_258 wrote: »Can i have an off-topic rant please?!
Went into tesco to get a few bits this afternoon and will generally look for reduced to clear items while i'm there as sunday is a good day for them. I probably do this about once a month but there's always this woman there who hangs around for the bargains and basically doesn't let anyone else get a look in, lots of fast and furious grabbing! She uses her larger size to advantage by basically blocking everyone else so she can get all the best stuff! This really winds me up as most others who are looking are being very polite about it but she really isn't. I like a bargain as much as anyone else but she is a bit ridiculous and quite rude. I don't think i'd think anything much of it if I only saw her once or twice but every time i go on a Sunday she's always there so she must go every week. I just think there's no excuse and she's really annoyed me! Anyway rant over:mad:
Feel better now!:Dshandyclover wrote: »We have a lady in our local Tesco who positions her 2 children right in front of the reduced counter, gives them instructions and they hand everything to her straight into her trolley. No one can get a look in without getting too close to the kids or reaching past them, so being polite, no one does. I have actually walked into Tesco at 3pm on a Sunday and seen the kids stationed there waiting for 'the man with the gun', while mum reads the magazines.
My local Extra has introduced a very tightly managed queuing system as it's mostly people from other countries (who don't seem to grasp the concept of queuing) that cause the problems. I am very glad of this as I was sick of tussling with the flurry of shovey/pushy vultures, tbh I have decided reductions are a false economy for me personally so no longer bother unless I'm passing and the queue is short/non existent.
They did it for the good of the staff as they were getting shoved around and one girl in Asda nearly got inadvertently attacked when the 'vultures' swooped and she got caught in the crossfire (she was wheeling the trolley with the reductions on it).
I think it's disgusting the way people act over reduced food, as if you can forego all manners and decency for a cheap meal :mad::mad:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I find it really hard at the pound shop. I went in yesterday for toilet paper and there were so many shower gels to be had -had to go around the shop with a bottle of XYZ brand lavender and tea tree shower gel before I could bring myself to put it down before I got to the till. Phew. Close call.

I do this all the timeI've never been able to fathom of why shower gel bottles normally contain 1/2 the amount compared to bubble baths
I decant them into a pump bottle and it works just the same :money:
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
