Good morning.
dlb Well done, you must be so relieved.
The weather here is sunny and showery, unfortunately DD2 is supposed to be having her fun day at school, so that may well be another planned event cancelled due to the rain.
As I finished work on Friday I'm concentrating on getting all of my school records done before the kids finish on friday. Although I have been looking for other things to do as I hate doing paperwork!
The wm is on, the house was cleaned yesterday and I'm going to make a poor man's mousse in a minute. I'm going to make hamburgers for tea as I hardly ever do them but the kids love them.
Have a good day!0 -

Morning all :hello:
It seems everybody is going through the mill this morning so ((((hugs)))) to EVERYBODY!
One of my neighbours had her bag snatched yesterday afternoon, including her keys, and not far from the front door - so they've had to change the lock on their flat, but of course the main security door to the building is also at risk  and the management company are supposed to be fitting a replacement lock today. We have an electric fob swipe system as well as a manual key, and fortunately she only lost the key rather than the entry fob as well (so when they've changed the lock we can still access the building before receiving a new manual key!)
Penny-Pincher!! - if you go into King's, let me know as it's really near where I live, and I'd love to pop in and cheer you up
Churchmouse - sorry, I didn't come back on to the Daily yesterday and I only just saw your question. Yes, it was the 40/60 part choral concert. Did you catch any of it on the radio? It was amazing.
dlb - BIG congratulations in paying off your rent arrears :T :T
joannasmum - how awful, I hope your sister's BF's ex (is that right?) is on the mend soon!
scuzz - hugs - I have to say I'm glad the gutless wonder is out of the picture. Hope your new contract works out in your favour at work.
Must be off, work is calling.
Love Rzl xx

Hello, yesterday was a tiring one as I was at work and both kids were grumpy (they'd had colds over the weekend and didn't want to do anything!) so by 6pm I felt as grumpy as they did and bought a bar of chocolate and scoffed the lot. I don't feel bad for the chocolate, I just wish I hadn't wasted 60p at the expensive newsagents for a measly 6 pieces of chocolate!!!
Anyway, enough of that. Today I'm off to meet a friend who is going to treat me to see a film, not sure which one yet, but should be fun and whilst I'm out I'm going to stock up on some craft items as its a friends birthday on the weekend and she has requested no presents, but I intend on making her a card with a bookmark attached. I've not made cards before so hopefully will manage to make something nice. I've made bookmarks, so just need to choose which stones and beads to add for her. I have card blanks and envelopes already and few little pieces but could probably do with some embellishments to put on it.
Otherwise dinner will be veggie soup and bread followed by stewed apple with ginger. Its making me hungry already!
I hope everyone is having a good day and the weather is nice for you... its just become sunny here--time to stick the washing outside I guess

Morning everyone
Raining heavy here again, so what's new! Fed up of hearing the rain can't wait for a week on Friday when off for my next dose of sunshine. Stupidly I have my home page set to the BBC weather forecast for where I am going, so I keep seeing full sun symbols and 28-30degrees!
Added a load to this, and it has just lost it:mad:
Will have to try again later

Morning all..((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) to anyone who needs one.
We have had our coffee morning, not many turned up, but its holiday time, so not suprised really. Decided to go to the allotment tomorrow and my tame computer chappie is brining my baby back this afternoon......now this one has gone on the blink in sympathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A bright and sunny start to the day but it has clouded over now, more rain forecast for today........ughhhhhhhhhhhh.
Last night I was looking through one of the other brochures and discovered that I can get a caravan on the same site through another company far cheaper.........thank heavens I had not booked........I have to ring them and see if there is a further reduction because we want to book our own travel via the tunnel.
Had an email from my friend she has offered us an overnight stay, so think we will tack it onto the end of our stay and tavel back vis the route they use to Calais. I will have to think of something to take for her.
OH is going bowling tonight, so I will have a couple of hours to myself, may get the machine out depends whats on TV.
I saw Hugh FW the first time round, the programme is very interesting........he manages to change quite a few peoples take on life.....
OH is still struggling with his jigsaw it has been on the table for almost a month now, getting fed up with picking bits up off the floor, he is determined not to be beaten, I will just be glad to see the back of it!!!!!
Right off to sort out a load of washing to take down, the bin is getting quite full and I am in danger of running out of knickers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all,
Hugs to all in need or want.
PenPin, sorry to hear that you have had to go hospital and back after your holidays...enjoy the break and try not to worry about DD, she will be fine and have a wonderful time.
Scuzz...special hugs to you...Mr Right will appear when you least expect it.
Odds, you can only take it easy so assemble as much entertainment for yourself around you on the couch and do not move!
Grannybroon....as you're not big into taking it easy, can you be careful please?
Hester...hope that to-day is less exciting than yesterday!
Learning to save...congratulations on your saving for this week!
Taplady....must have been scary being 'marooned' in flood with a 96 year old...we are on a hill so never flood but we had what sounds like your storm yesterday pm...I was marooned in greenhouse and OH in gazebo.
DLB...congratulations on getting rid of your arrears...doesn't it feel good to know that, thanks to MSE it need never happen again?
Toonie, enjoy your treat.
Pooky...thankfully neither your OH or anyone else was injured so £140 is not much for peace of mind...you will manage to find the £300 you need by 28th.
JackieO, Queenie, thinking of you both
Going to leave my greeting as it was morning when I started this but grandsons had a disagreement which I had to sort out...going to take them out weeding in a minute
Have a good day

afternoon all :hello:
well I have ended up having a bit of a pamper morning  I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and I will have to set off really early so thought I would start the preperations now
I have de fuzzed, exfoliated, moisturised and put on a coat of fake tan - my feet are going to get a pedicure next and I will do my hands tonight. So the housework and paperwork are just going to have to wait. I havent even got a hat/feather thingy yet - but that will have to wait till friday when I will have a car. I have just checked the weather forecast and it doesnt look good so I will have to take my umbrella.
The one MS thing that I did try to do this morning was repair some shoes
they are new but have started to come away at the front so I bought some super glue to stick them back together. BIG MISTAKE
the shoes are now in the bin as I managed to stick them together and I am still picking dried up glue off my hands and worktop - should have just taken them back :rotfl:
Sorry to hear that so many of you are unwell (((HUGS)))
Catch up later - OOPS
edited to add - Im sure the wedding I am going to is not your ex OH JocketUK
