Good morning everyone,
Havnt read the thread yet, but will go back later when ive got back from school to read properly (cant take anything in at the moment!!!)
Ive been up since 6, but have got all my clicks done before anyone got here - have 3 LOs today, and im being brave - im going to attempt to go to Tesco witht hem all!!!! Wish me luck!!
Actually, shouldnt be too bad, they are all lovely children who behave so im not too worried. Desperatly need some fresh fruit and veg, so need to go. Other than that, my only plans are to clean the bathroom, toilets and kitchen - so nice quiet day for me (not).
So far the weather is ok, so hopefully i will get the WM on in a mo, and get everything out of the washing basket, im hating drying the clothes inside so will be lovely if i can hang it up outside.
OK, need to get moving, baby LO here any minute and i need to get that WM going,
Hope everyone is well, have a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Bore Da!
Ooooh, working was HARD yesterday - seemed to spend ages showing the kids my scar (little ghouls). It's OK, I won't lose my job as this scar is clearly visible on my neck!
Back for more today...only have to last 'til Friday...then I can spend most of the holiday catching up on marking, planning, making worksheets etc etc as well as having to go into school to clear up the classroom, sort out cupboards ... Last year I even cleaned the windows.
Hester have a calmer day, let's hope the medical officer got enough sleep!
PenPin have a great holiday and stay safe.
Scuzz forgive a newby 'butting in', but any "man" who has to use MSN is only a rat. You deserve better and will find better.
(((((Hugs to all!)))))I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Good Morning All
Mioliere - have a good time at Curves, we have got one in a local village - sounds interesting.
Amie - perhaps Mrs-Mix has given you a good idea - a Grease themed party?
PP - DD will have a fantastic time, my friends DD went for her first trip recently - 10 days abroad, both Mum and Daughter enjoyed the time in different ways, your DD sounds very mature as well.
Tired-Mum dont have a specific number for a Limo firm but there seems to be hundres in Essex - hope you get it sorted.
Well sun is shining here at the moment so feeling quite motivated about the day ahead. Main priority today is housework with some ironing and a little paperwork thrown in later. Wasted time on the phone to Orange Insurance Services yesterday as one of our phones is damaged, I couldnt beleive the questions they were asking - where in my handbag it is kept, what else is in my handbag & did I put it on the floor! I have 5 phones with them and have done for 7 years and never claimed before - unbeleivable. Anyway upshot is a replacement is being sent today between 1&5pm so hoovering must be done by lunchtime.
Weather forcast for the rest of the week is not good. Think will try and find time to pop to a town and get some more board games for the school holidays - have a feeling they will be required.
Going to get on now, have a great day.0 -
Good Morning All
I tossed n turned all night. Think I finally went to sleep around 6.20am. Still feeling dizzy/sick. I dont know what it is Ive got, but I hope it passes!
Ive got an appt later at the opticians's, after much nagging from my mum to get my eyes tested. Specsavers was able to get me in!
My brother arrived ok, after his immigration interview, him & his wife spent rest of the day and the night in Disney! How nice! Thanks for the advice moiliere ref Skype (enjoy curves by the way). Will look more into it! But I may PM you sometime with further advise,
Did anyone watch the Becham's last night? I didn't, I heard on the news that she had made 6 parts, and the 1st didn't go too well in US that they decided to axe it completely.
Ive got loads of washing to get through, but sadly, with the way I feel, it'll have to wait!
Dlb - well done! I know you was like a mad woman for a while panicking like mad! Im glad you achieved it!
Anyway, best be off
Take care

Hi All
What on earth does Martin look like - when Wimbledon was on I kind of thought he looked like one of the Village People!! Sorry Martin!
Well, Mioliere and Amie interesting about the help with the project and the bomb. Breakfast TV are featuring how grandparents can help in the classroom. You seem to have really enjoyed yourself yesterday M!
Jock - do you think if all of us on OS do a rain dance at the appropriate time at the weekend the heavens will open just at the right time???
Mrs M - I probably have a skirt in the loft which would have fitted the bill. The loft declutter is on my to do list as I need plumber to replace the cold water tank up there.
PennyP - sorry you have been poorly but please don't overdo things now you are home. DD will be just fine, honest!
dlb - well done. Just think of how those pennies can now go in the piggy bank! If you have achieved this in such a short time, keep going.
Love to those I haven't mentioned who have posted above.
Doing a bit of babysitting today (not staying too long) and hope to come home via Dunelm Mill as I could do with a new quilt. Might also go to B&Q - have decided I might get some Patio Roses for the next garden border (the big revamp!) that I will tackle at some point before I go back to work. They are doing 3 for a tenner at the moment. As most of you know I have had an interesting couple of days on the gardening front! I have a garden rubbish uplift booked for Saturday so I now think if I feel up to it tomorrow, will concentrate on filling the rubble sacks with stuff needing to go and then do the planting thereafter.
Still rather tender after my dislocation yesterday and I am about to jump into my 4th bath in 24 hours as the hot water does seem to help. At least I smell nice too!!!
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning all!:hello:
Another lovely sunny day - washing is out, recycling bags & green bin awaiting collection, must be nearly time for breakfast!
Not much planned for today, but do have childrens club this evening at church. Its the last one before the holidays, so will be different to usual, with sports games & snacks.
DS says he is going to start improving his fitness level today, in preparation for climbing Scafell Pike with some friends, and also because he wants to apply to join the army. I think he needs to start by getting out of bed some time this morning!!!
JackieO - I'm glad to hear you managed to maintain your dignity!!!!
.... ok, there's no such thing as dignity in hospital, is there?!
Hugs to PenPin and Scuzz - and everyone else, too!
Have a good day!0 -
morning all! well, foot's quite sore today from teh poking it took yesterday. So once the DH leaves with the laptop, I'm off the puter until he comes home as I can't keep my foot up at the kitchen table.
so all I'll be doing today is sitting on my duff cross stitching and watching dvds.
Will get OH to get more fruit for me today;all we've got left are 2 bananas. He's been so good about all this and at least Iv'e already organized a thank you -going to the Mousetrap in London and then staying overnight. MInd you, ti was OS, we got the hotel room for £1, and the show + dinner at the Savoy for £125 (good seats) at the end of Aug.
Hope everyone has a good day; hester, have a quieter day please??0 -

sorry I have just skimmed the thread so ((((HUGS)))) to those who want or need them
DD has just gone to school and DDog is curled up next to me asleep ( as usual ) I have put the bins and recycle stuff out this morning in my pj's - keeps the neighbours talking  I have a load of washing to go on the line in a mo then Im having a quick shower and popping over to Tescos on my bike. I managed to get some paperwork sorted out last night so I can actually get into my office now to get on with more sorting. The amount I have hoarded is ridiculous - I think I have just been piling it up for years
Nothing else happening here today really. DD is at 2 dance classed tonight so my Mum is going to provide a taxi service for her as I have no car till friday. Breakfast is cornflakes, lunch is slimfast and dinner is scrambled eggs on wheat free toast, will also have loads of fruit inbetween. I lost 6lbs last week but this week the scales havent moved
well enough of my boring life - have a good day everybody :hello:
