Stewby I ready that wrong and thought you were saying you were 16 tomorrow.... :rotfl: 16 with a credit card, get you!
you're like one of those rich teens from 'My supersweet 16th' which I totally have not watched ever...
moohound so sorry about the pneumonia. It is a pig to kick and seems to come back at the slightest cough doesn't it? I had it when I was 20 and everytime it gets a bit cold and I cough I seem to come down very quickly. Hope you feel MUCH better soon and sending you lots of love. Hoping you don't have to go to hospital- stay in bed, stay too warm and keep all the windows shut as my Doc tells me.

Poor moohound we cross-posted. Look after yourself.
I remember having it (one of my earliest memories as I was only eighteen months old). A very hot summer and I kept saying I was cold and wanting to go back in my tansad (forerunners to pushchairs). My father took me to the chid-minders the next day and by the time she called the doctor, I was too ill to be moved. They brought their daughter's cot down from storage. The actual memory I have is waking in the dark (with light spilling through the glass panels in the door) and seeing 'auntie's' front room through the bars of the cot.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Hullo again folks
Luckystarr What a pain that your battery conked out todayI suppose there is never a good time to have car troubles
Get well wishes to moohound and mothernerd's mum with poorly chests xx
Lilt Yes I am definitely better off staying put in this gaff for the time being, going solo and renting a pad on my own did make me worry a little truth be known. I am quite lucky to have found such a lovely house with lovely people but there are times when my introvert self craves some personal space
So the SFD I had claimed prematurely this morning needs to be deducted from my signature. After some number crunching and setting budgets for the month, I decided to fuel up and do a food shop at Tesc. I used my 2p off per litre thingy and filled up the car for £27 which should last me the month and also did a decent food shop for about £32 after the money off coupons were used :T I should only need to do some top up shops for fresh stuff as the freezer is crammed with top up bread and milk amongst other things.
So the budgets for October are as follows: (budgets started on pay day 26th)
Food 40.59/ 100
Fuel 27/50
Fun 0/75
Misc 9.09/25
Debt free date will be August 2015 although this could be May. I dont want to put too much pressure on myself as extreme scrimping for two and a bit years to clear 22k drove me around the twist

Poorly today, have pneumonia again, got oral antibiotics and inhalers, any worse and I have to go into hospital again
Not even a no spend day was £23 for 3 prescriptions:(
Oh no! Hope you get better without the hospital
And it WAS an NSD as prescriptions don't count!
Ooh mothernerd - nearly atyour final payment on the bank loan! Well done you! Glad they are keeping your mum in and looking after her well.
Sniffling on to the end of the month. Thank you mothernerd for being the first one after NSK. You have been truly inspirational.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Welcome back traveller & thrifty.
moohound - glad to hear you feel a bit better. I swear by Ecchinacea as a prevention, I start to take it in October until February regularly plus any other time I feel I need it during the year. Good morning,
got paid today so paid 800 quid of the CC which reduces the wedding debt to £2260 (planned, overall we stayed in our set budget, just didn't manage to save it all up in time on mat pay). Wont be able to pay that much off every month but maybe at the end of Oct again as we had loads of childcare vouchers saved up and DD basically goes to nursery for free for two months. But also managed to put a few quid into the emergency fund. Not quite on full pay yet (got last month as part mat pay and holiday pay), so next month should be back to full pay.
Still a slow day at work so I am making a shopping list and a list of yummy freezer meals to cook on the weekend.
Remade my spread sheets for my in-goings and out-goings as I seemed to have lost them. Will keep working on them and predict a DFD. Not sure entirely what my income will be or final nursery cost or Food/HH for 4 now. But I predict it might take us 6 or 7 months to pay that offDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Poor you Moohound its no fun, hope you get well soon.
Thanks Mothernerd for this month. Feeling failure as my credit cards are higher now than at the start of the month, looking on the bright side, have lovely painted house, outside and bedroom, hall been decorated. Together with new carpets in 2 bedrooms love my home now.
September had been good brilliant weather, lovely weekly challenges, learn something new - confession time, yoga mat still in box, may stay there a few weeks longer. As have a ton of topsoil being delivered today, exercise sorted lol.
Had another leak yesterday, my fault knew the sealant around the bath needed re doing, so no showers until I fix it. Have to be soon as on a water meter. Luckily just hit far wall in Hall and my wallpaper escaped to live another day phew.
Spent 61 pounds on dog with all infections and kennel cough yday to include 7 pounds re start charge. This way can go away somewhere when I like without having to beg friends to look after her.
Today needed toothpaste so a sfd wasted for one item.
Haven't looked at targets for next month yet. Going to tight as have done some reckless spends this month. Need to recover sharply.
Well done Thifty on paying off 800 pounds, nice to see you back.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220
