Hi, No, I don't have a diary, just enjoy reading everyone else's :T
Great effort on your DH's part0 -
Well......I was going to say 'wot a sweetie' and 'don't take any notice of what they all say 'cos NOA is a good girl.......'
BUT.......I'm not sure if this isn't a barbed compliment!!!??? I'm sitting on the fence for now
Brogden x
Oh No!!!! Brogden:(
Perhaps I should give up writing:( It was meant to be a compliment....... no barbs, no stingers, no nothing (is there such a thing a nothing? is a no nothing double treble or whatever negative?)
I think my mind races ahead and my fingers don't keep up and I end up writing a load of carp as everything here says (I have a friend who loves fishing and would be very offended by what I have just written)....its very true what they say, without the personal interaction and visual cues the written word can be so totally misread
Let me explain, I only meant that with all these OH's that aren't on board or hiding their head in the sand- and all behave in the same way in certain situations you clearly are on board and not hiding your head in the sand......
... so have I dug an even deeper hole or do you get my drift?
So post what you were going to post, forgive my clumsy writing and jump off the fence, this side hopefully!!!
xx

Is it possible we share the same OH? I nearly fell out of bed when my OH offered to take my dd to work on a saturday morning when I was ill.... and yes I did accept his offer..
I'm also one of the ladies who will miss my dd dreadfully when/if she goes off to uni in 2 years time.. I try to think of lots of postive things I can do as I won't be running around after her.. my fault, I only have the one dd and I do 'mother' her... but I'm sure we will all get through it.. not looking forward to it mind...!

Great that he helped Puzz!
Have filled my time with lots of things (running business when there's work, have taken courses, did review writing (for fun - not money at the time!), part time fun job because I like working with children, and I never get round to other things I would love to do cos of time .... watercolour, crafting , generally arty stuff, and books, love books to bits, am waiting to write mine, gardening (design and do .....my big project when we have the money!) volunteer at school, and volunteer at a well known advice agency, and am the eternal student -= love learning! But when the emptiness hits you, it just does, busy or not! Part of life I know......an sad ache-y part that is meant to make you stronger:):(

Love that Disney clip - the song that always makes me think of DD is Roberta Flack - 1st time ever I saw your face
She is by far the best mistake I ever made in my life and my favourite woman in the whole wide world. Gosh I'm missing her right now 😒
Sending hugs Granny.
Love that song too - got reminded of it through X factor (DD watches avidly) a year or two ago Matt Cardell (or something like that) sang it -lovely words. xxFeb2014 Total unsecured debt £72,520>>01/06/16 £68166>01/02/17 £66,600=8.18%PAID

Thank you NOA!!!!
No you haven't dug yourself deeper and yes, I do get your drift but I can't remember what I was going to post!!! By the way...if I jump off the fence I'll certainly jump on your side........so watch out for the tomatoes!
I haven't done a full signature update and everything tonight as there is a little 'domestic unrest.' It was caused by a phone call.......(DCA's - Arc Europe)........they can't have read my letter.....if its arrived yet - probably not! One to tackle in the morning
You're doing wonders!

See NOA. I blink and miss 26 blimmin posts!
Brogden, how could you think our NOA is anything other than lovely, courteous and grateful for your valued input. And no, I am also not being sarcy although compliments on the web are very easy to read the wrong way
I have sat here listening to Jelly talking in her sleep; went in earlier as she was moaning and found her so ridiculously hot that she, and the bed were soaked. Pyjamas and hair dripping wet. So back to the teeny baby duvet tonight. Still on mummy red alert in case it is a fever and not just being trapped under a big peoples single duvet.
All of your posts about Uni made me think... it has been a heartbeat since I had her and yet she sits here jabbering away at me, "pretending" to be a baby... telling me what hurts, asking me for 'some lunch' and bringing me the bottle of squash and her cup... I am sure it will be another heartbeat and she will be off to Uni, or BatCamp, Witches club or some other alternative learning facility... hopefully not prison? :rotfl: no promises there; she is her mothers daughter, but then like her mother she will probably charm her way out of anything. Another Taylor Swift song for you there "I knew you were trouble when you walked in..."
I am sure DS knows that you will be just as heartbroken when he leaves. It is very hard to find common ground with a teenage boy. My 15 year old nephew is going to be very impressed with his boring Auntie Lilty when for his birthday he receives a voucher for his fave super cool gaming brand of clothing "Insert Coin Clothing" which his mum put me onto. Also his Christmas presents are Game of Thrones books from a series he wants and the second book from a series which he has requested the first of from his mum...Niece far easier. Nails? Check. Perfume? Check. Make up? Check.
Huge hugs to anyone who needs them. And just as an aside... I live 250 miles away from my mum and dad... and I miss them every day even though I don't often tell them in as many words. Every text message/phone call/skype is a thought from your kids to you. xxx

Wow its been busy on here today !!
Loved the Disney clip , that's me every day when I kiss the girls goodbye for school. I hate sleepovers and am at my happiest when we are all snuggled up together chillin in our PJs. I hate to think what I would be like if they went to Uni or when they leave home full stop. Oh and the Mamma Mia Song makes me blub every time I hear it DD1 sings it to me with a big smile on her face willing me to cry I swear, as she think its hilarious that it affects me so much ! What a bunch of old softies we are ! :rotfl:

I am amazed at everyone's friendliness and that you are taking the time to read.
StepChange are brilliant. Cried a lot, but we got there in the end.
I need to cancel direct debits now and move them to the basic account I set up months ago but which I never transferred all my payments to because I felt disloyal to the bank I have been with for 29 years. By not listening last time (I really thought business would pick up) I have wasted another 1000+ in interest to them. StepChange just spelt it out that while I keep making minimum payments they are making £ profit from my situation.
I have been hosting international students for 5 years to make extra money -it is what has kept us going, but that has also gone quiet this term, so no one staying at the moment. I run the business when there is work, have a part time seasonal job as bank staff in a school, have done paid review writing, and do weekend science demos when work is available. Also tried various direct sales companies, but none of it generates enough income, hence need to try and get a salaried job again.
Thanks for your support ... just feel a bit stronger today.
We take in international students too, but can i ask do you have a theatre in your county/city/near to you? i work in theatre on a freelance basis you have no idea how hard it is to find accomadation for a week 2 week etc (or digs as we call them) maybe when you don't have the students you can take in theatre people? there's a group on facebook called theatre digs group where you can post if your room is free and people request places there too. with panto coming up this could help a lot. hope this helps0 -
