Could it be that DH has seen a tiny pinprick of light at the end of the very long pitch black tunnel? ??
He texted an hour ago (which I failed to pick up as still on silent from Saturday!) and popped home as he has to visit site on same road as DS's school, and just asked if he should pick him up !!??£"!"%&^^*$DTF"!!"?
That would save me 1hr in time plus £5 diesel.
Then...wait for it.......he has sent a follow-up text because I did not let him know what time DS finishing tonight? *&*^%£"£$%&? ........he has finished and should he hang around for 20 mins to pick DS up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Normally if I suggested it he would always have some excuse eg not knowing how long he would be/had urgent stuff to do at home/why cant I just do it etc etc etc

Bye folks I am in shock and need to go and lie down with a cold flannel on my forehead.........................

Not sure if this will work
DD posted it on skype message after a video call on Saturday and I didn't want to end the call. We were trying to outdo each other with different smilies. She won. This made me blub.

Is it possible we share the same OH? I nearly fell out of bed when my OH offered to take my dd to work on a saturday morning when I was ill.... and yes I did accept his offer..

I'm also one of the ladies who will miss my dd dreadfully when/if she goes off to uni in 2 years time.. I try to think of lots of postive things I can do as I won't be running around after her.. my fault, I only have the one dd and I do 'mother' her... but I'm sure we will all get through it.. not looking forward to it mind...!

DD and I usually watch Mamma Mia every few months together and have a good blub! She also has the cd in the car -its one of our faves for the school run (DD is a really good singer and has a lovely voice and me ...well I just "sing" along best I can!) - it used to drive my DS nuts. Kiss radio (his fave) just isn't the same!

Love that Disney clip - the song that always makes me think of DD is Roberta Flack - 1st time ever I saw your face

She is by far the best mistake I ever made in my life and my favourite woman in the whole wide world. Gosh I'm missing her right now 😒
