    Oh My,,,, its nearly September!

    My thoughts exactly!!
Working through old videos (have a whole shelf full) to identify home ones of kids/holidays that need to be transferred to dvd, 30 sorted , at least that many more to go through. Still all in working order - not sure if they would be useful to anyone anymore - seems a shame to take to tip!

A plan I have for the winter months together with photos. I believe there are companies that take old videos for recycling - worth an internet trawl. having watched a BBC4 prog on landfill I really dont want to add anymore to the problem! And I am pretty evangelical when it comes to recycling as it is:eek:

Otherwise just plodding on, higher doses of meds not really helping, too much time at pc resulted in neck/shoulder problems, physio appt next week.
I have discovered the effects of Boron........worth a look into if its joint issues. I am 2 weeks in and a knee problem I have had for over 12 months which NHS want to treat with painkillers and physio, to no effect, has started to get better. I hope this might be an answer and not just coincidence as I cannot deal with the incapacity anymore!

Oh yes and still debt busting...........;)

Hello Igamogam - good to see you are back online and posting :)
I'm the recycling dragon lady in my house :rotfl: I've had a quick look but no joy at the moment re the VHS tapes,, will keep asking around.
Haven't got any further since last post as work has taken over. Have been offered 6 weeks (which could be extended) to cover staff absence at part time school job - full time -so that's come at a good time as SE has not picked up ......something always comes along to see you through :)

Boron -I'll have to look into that Ig, thanks.....

Hope all well with everyone. I need to get back into meal planning and shopping better, eating healthier, but I hate to admit it but I'm really bored with food and preparing it -

    Have a wonderful weekend

I know what you mean........I have spent the last 8 weeks cooking for 4 adults......I really enjoyed it........now I have gone back to work and DD2 and her BF have moved back their student house ( although she did call by today and asked if I could make her something to take with her to work for lunch:rotfl:) I really CBA........having a go at running down the freezers and store cupboards as I do periodically then I might be inspired again!

Boron is definitely having an effect :)

    October. Almost half way through.
Working full time. It's exhausting and not much room for anything much else at the moment. Enjoying some bits of it, but other aspects are really wearing, mentally. SE has been very sow so its been a godsend really.
It feels like a very long time since we had a break (last July/August to be exact).
DS in full blown UCAS applications mode, think he just submitted today. DD waiting for her Masters results, now job hunting.
Otherwise just plodding along, just wishing there was time for a bit more "life" as still living to work it seems. time is flying so light at the end of the tunnel. Due to work am very behind in everything. A few quotes to do for SE this week, old returning client, so hopefully things will pick up a bit. My "baby" DS turning 18 this week! Officially will be a house of 4 adults :rotfl: though you wouldn't think it. :rotfl:

    Love to all

Thank you for popping by Puzz and Cherryfudge, I can only apologise for my total inability to keep up here :(
Real Life is super busy and although keeping this diary really helps me I physically can't find the time at the moment.
Working the part time jobs full time doesn't help but its consistent money and being out and seeing people keeps my mood up.
Lots happening - its half term this week so have a few days but need to catch up with everything at home. Housework is totally neglected, SE has been low. Decluttering comes in fits and starts. Its sunny today and the windows are so dusty I want to do a blitz but have a right shoulder issue at the moment so can't. Have sorted out new boiler replacement for mum, weekends are still busy with going to see her, am feeling very very tired. Part time work has been extended to end of term, so long days leaving home 7.30 and getting home 6.30 or later.
DH is quite down at work with overload. DS has one offer come through for uni, DD working part time temping and sent in her first couple of applications. She's planning staying at home for the time being.
I have made a great long lists of things to do this week.
Hope all is good in MSEland

Look after yourself, plenty of time for housework another day.... and take care on that list construction...don’t over do it!! ;)

Pleased DS has a job offer. Can OH talk to anyone about sharing the load? That sounds hard. Glad DD is taking time to decide what she wants to do. Best to be sure than rush into something.

    Have a good week x

    Morning :)
Can't seem to get myself going this a.m. Have had a pretty productive week (not housework Mrs B!).

    1) 2 days at Mum's, boiler replaced and heating working again - just in time for cold weather. Also took her to see someone she needed to visit (lots of mileage, not good for bad shoulder:(
    2) DCA submitted (not due til near end Nov)-:)
    3) VAT accounts done - just need to submit and pay week early!:)
    4) Changed Electricity supplier :), suddenly one of big six wants me to call them (won't bother).
    5) Returned shoes (ordered nearly month ago - didn't fit)
    6) Shopping done for DS - new sports kit and suit - he's grown again!
    7) Got flu jab
    8) Updated creditors with new I&E + other letters
    9) Found necessary paperwork re old shares- need to review - this has been missing in piles for about 5 years  and managed to get access online again - huge step forward!
    10) Essential paperwork done for mum
    11) 2 bags of paper shredded/recycled
    12) 2 large bags of old clothes ready to take to recycling.
    13) Countless loads of washing done etc.
    14) a few hours of voluntary work done.
    15) 2 new handbags bought (might return one , might not!)
    16) New filofax insert bought to start planning next year work.
17)Distributed posters to various places for voluntary work event.
    18) Read 2 fiction books by laying in in the mornings:)

Back to school tomorrow so just need to get clothes ready and possible a batch cook if I can be bothered, but need to pop into town first to get monthly blood test out of the way, top up with petrol and get a query answered at bank while I'm there. Then some quotes to do for SE work - possible projects for next year.

DS now has 3 university offers in hand so all looking good so far, time is racing by, this time next year he'll be off and it'll be empty be empty nest again.
DD still temping and applying for jobs - I think its a numbers game for graduates these days.

Well that's a boring update. All work and no play.
Might try and prune one of the roses now - its so bright and sunny outside (but very frosty), just need a bit of vit D top up after a weekend indoors.

    Have a great week
