The sunshine today revealed cobwebs galore even though it was all done very thoroughly week before Christmas :( where do the little eight legged things hide away - I thought I d got them all:rotfl:

    They've been at mine. :D

Well done on lots of constructive things today. :)

We have what look suspiciously like snow clouds now, for which I take all blame as I put jeans on the line to dry.

Ours aren't showing through at all! On the other hand, snow itself is now beginning to drop...:snow_grin

No snow drops here...February usually. And not enough snow flakes either IMO this winter :D

Nice to have you back on MSE Igamogam :)

I think ours are on a sheltered bank, and kept warm with a blanket of autumn leaf fall which never got raked up in November....
I think you probably have nicer snow in the hills/on the coast in the West country . I enjoy a good snowfall for about 3 hours.... before it becomes a muddy slushy mess and brings the country to a grinding halt:D

Good Morning :) and it is because its sunny and blue outside, though it made driving very difficult as sun is so low in the sky.

I bought a book from Amazin yesterday which was recommended on here a while ago - the Relaxation response - I got it for £1.22 :D as it turns out I had £5 for the inconvenience of previous order not being delivered but showing as handed to resident, and another £5 for being honest and cancelling replacement order when the first arrived so £10 discount was applied:money::D

    Yesterday's achievements
    1) 6 hrs at part time job until 2pm then came home and
    2) Updated I & E and sent update to one of the creditors. Still need to do the one that is playing up. Might need to look up DMP thread, as not sure what I will do if they insist arrangement has to be through StepCHange?
    3) Sent a quote to client, this one is probably unlikely to come off.
    4) Posted letter to uni friend which I have been carrying around since i wrote it.
    5) No cooking last night as we took out odds and ends of left over meals from freezer and all had something different:D but DS ended up stir frying 500g of turkey escalopes which were meant for tonight and having most of it in wraps with mayo :(

Seeing friend for coffee then volunteer work this afternoon, also need to catch up with admin for the volunteer work this am. Need to dig out a couple of dividend cheques that need banking but they are somewhere in my pikes of stuff "tidied" away from before Christmas.

    Have a good day everyone.

A bargainaceous book! It probably more than recoups the cost of DS's turkey escalope splurge. Annoying when people literally eat your good budgeting, though, isn't it?

It is Cherry:mad: but its OK he's a growing lad and very active with Rugby training so he needs it I guess.

Today.....:o The moment you realise you've done the VAT return/paid a month early.....:o:o it was due 7th Feb not 7th Jan
That's a first, shows how befuddled my head is at the moment. At least it's done and dusted.

    Tomorrow:-
-Shopping, still have TopCB debnhms voucher £90 to spend, might catch last of the BlueX
-Tablecloth I bought for a pressie for mum was too big - need to return and find another
    -do some more accounting

Early night for me tonight as feeling exhausted.
