    Thanks Bob :)
A good week all in all, and some lovely memories made in and amongst.
Am a bit on edge as I didn't get my creditor letters written / sent before we left, and now there's another pile waiting to be opened, and I'm too anxious to open them as I might have missed deadlines for responses for some of them. So I am ignoring them for tonight, otherwise I will lie awake worrying tonight, will do that first thing tomorrow.

I have a very busy but bitty week coming up...
    Preseason training for DS
    2 Medical apts
Part time work for both jobs from Friday and into next week
SE catch up to do (have just done quote to drop of tomorrow)
Start of school term shopping to fit in
    Bank accounts to juggle
Parents to visit.....and daren't even think about the garden.

....so 5 hrs at home and stress levels are back up to red alert:eek:
Need a bright and early start tomorrow, need to be organised.

Brill news is that DS picked up his emails tonight and he aced* his early GCSE :T:T :):)

    Thanks Brizzle and Bob.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend:)
Spent Sunday washing/juggling money/and some SE work, then in the evening drove down to see parents, stayed overnight and helped them yesterday with usual shopping and chores etc. Got back quite late last night and pretty exhausted, with a really stiff back. Couldn't sleep at all last night so not a good start to the week. Medical appointment and taxi service for DS today has taken up the bulk of the day - small trip into town to find rucksack for DS - no luck. Lots of paperwork to do tonight.

Will come back tonight once I've ticked a few things off my list.

    Silly silly me,
After two years I am supposed to have learnt by now not to worry about opening letters from creditors. Having avoided the pile of "private and confidential" for 3 days I have just swallowed the frog and opened them, only to discover the frog was imaginary (well, even more so than usual;)) and it turns out they were just annual statements (hence the bulk) if from a financial institution, and three, yes three! from companies offering employment training seminars in the local area.... why on earth did they need to be marked P &C??
Anyway, for no reason whatsoever I feel like a weight has lifted. I have checked and I have missed some creditor deadlines, but I will sort that this week anyway and make some nice phone calls to them.:)

NOA skips off (well, sort of hobbles off:rotfl:) to make dinner:)

Thanks for popping by Brizzle, Bob

Just starting to feel a bit more in control :)
Hols were really nice. I even learnt some welsh - signs everywhere saying ARAF.......Should have paid attention to them - Did my back in late Saturday night as I got into bed :( natures way of saying slow down?

First two days of hols were very wet - non-stop, heavy rain but on the first day we went out anyway and did a gorge walk to see a waterfall. I was a bit concerned about doing it due to steep uneven steps/path but it was something I needed to do for me - at home I start getting cramp in my legs from just climbing stairs so fatigue has been a routine part of the day since beginning of the year. But I took the walk really slow and completed it all. Wrists/hands ached all week from gripping the rails but the fact that I was able to complete the whole walk really boosted me. We were soaked through to the skin despite waterproof jackets, and kids didn't complain once - I think they realised how much it meant to me, to prove to myself that I could do it still.
Sun did come out on Tuesday :T and rest of the week was fairly settled and a perfect temperature - 19-22 degrees. Did lots of walks along trails (not proper hikes), hills, coast, some exploring little villages and a couple of NT places, lots of time outside every day. Evenings in pool/jaccuzzi/sauna/steam room:cool:. The place we stayed was n Snowdonia NP - really peaceful, beautiful views, very calming. Mainly self catered (simple meals – sandwiches at lunch, snacks ( and the odd cream tea ;)) when out and about, quick prep meals in the evenings with a big meal out in hotel restaurant on the last night. So not exciting in a big way, but a nice time had by all. A lot of give and take, as DH and I try to come to terms with having a holiday with 2 more or less independent adult children who do not necessarily have the same opinion of what constitutes a good holiday! All over too quickly and now it feels we have never been away.

A dent in the budget but its all paid for £950 for the accommodation, £250 spent on food and ent. There will just be some belt tightening this month, until we can invoice for more SE work - just had confirmation today that ~2.2K work accepted:T

    But.....
    1) intermittent car problem is now quite a bit worse - journey to parents a bit worrisome at times, so I need to take car to dealer garage very soon.
    2) Plumbing problem in bathroom - need to call out.
    3) dishwasher still broken - haven't been able to coordinate a callout with being home myself
    4) drainage problem from kitchen sink.
As always, for every 1K that comes in there's 2K queuing to go out!

But am thankful that we are able to and have the opportunity to work, not everyone is as fortunate.

More early morning taxi -ing tomorrow for DS. Will try and get head down to some work and also domestic stuff tomorrow - didn't really finish washing /unpacking as went to see parents instead on Sunday/Monday.

Sorry its such a long post - just had to remind myself we have had a break:D

Dropped off DS out at school sports training early this am, then a little bit of SE work done, 3 loads of washing done and dried outside, have been for a top up grocery shop and bagged some bargains with 2 vest tops plus a lovely cotton skirt for £9 all told thrown in from the supermarket sale rail :o
Managed to find rucksack (bought 2 for £40 in TeeKayMax, so one spare - we're always looking:rotfl:) so that's another urgent thing ticked off list. In the past have bought more expensive ones but they still don't last as he has to carries so much weight in it - this is one he has had before and it seems to do two terms.
Need to get some paperwork done now, and batch cook some mince for meals.
Two more enquires for work today :T

Also pleased with myself as have managed 10K steps for the last three days. :j

    Keeping on plodding......
