Why doesn't management give that sort of instruction all the time - people might actually listen:)
Some good news arrived in the post today. Refund of just under £500 of interest from the loan where they apparently didn't send a some statements with a particular phrase on! That's cleared 25% of that particular creditor :T
will have to update signature this week
A full day of catching up on SE today, and lots of washing done and dried. DS did hovering and tidied kitchen for me , little star that he is, well not so little , he towers over me:o
Same tomorrow, though am thinking of booking some tickets for a jazz concert at a hotel about 30 mins away tomorrow night - might help DS with his improvising on sax - its 8.30 to midnight - not sure if I can stay awake that long:o
will decide in the morning depending on how I feel.
Already half way through half term and haven't achieved any of what I had hoped to.

Really hope your DD will be well again soon. I can see why you'd worry about her health if she is normally fit and well. So many people have colds at the moment it's hard to avoid the general lurgy.
Well done on your windfall too. £500 is a good sum to have to play with.
Glad you have helped your parents declutter too must be so rewarding.

Same here and kicking myself............I had such plans at the beginning of the week
It's frustrating Igamogam, isn't it. I have managed to do stuff for mum and dad, but it has put me behind schedule now. I wanted to paint DS's room (which didn't happen last summer) and also the stairs/landing, but was not to be:(Really hope your DD will be well again soon. Unfortunately windfall did not come as a cheque, as account was in arrears it has just come off the balance statement, so nothing to play with but we are that bit less poor on paper
Hope you acquired some blinkers, getting some rest and are recovering well.

20 mouth ulcers. Gosh how horrible and painful for her. Poor thing. Really hope she gets shot of them very soon.
Thanks again for the kind words.

Thanks Bob.
Just off out now to check out this Jazz session. Laid in this morning so don't feel too tired. DS made hot dogs with local yummy sausages, so quick and easy supper.
Going to pick up DD tomorrow evening, she was crying on the phone earlier today.
