    I never leave feedback.

I also don't go to the customer service desk in a store and tell the CS person there how smiley or grumpy the checkout assistant was.

    I don't see the point.

  • And if i was on one of my moaning days it was me that marked you down on the stars for failing to leave me feedback.

Im sure I wont be the only person thinking the same.

If you buy from a website, do you cry & moan because there was no one to give you a glowing report/feedback..

I personally find your statement to be disgusting and pathetic, absolutely NOTHING to be proud about, as you obviously are.

attitudes like yours are just another reason why ebay is going down the toilet..
  • Had Alot of sellers and buyers not leave me feedback in the past, EVEN When I have left them feedback and kindly asked them 2-3 times over following weeks to do so.

    Now my rule is,
If I am the Buyer, I will not leave feedback until received feedback from the seller, If I am The Seller I leave feedback as soon as they have paid me, this to me is the way it should be.
I should have 250-260 higher feedback count then I have on ebay.

No i dont moan when a website doesnt leave me feedback because i do not use any shop sites that work in that way.
I also take no notice of the thanks count on sites like this because it doesnt benefit me.

But thats how ebay works, Why do sellers not leave feedback?
Still appears to be a hangup to the days a seller would retaliate for bad feedback.

Yep, people are brainwashed into the ebay way of thinking.

What they don't say to themselves is, I like the item the seller is selling, the price is right (which are the two reasons I bought it). Now, do I want him to be here next year or will I cause him as much grief as possible, so he packs it in and I'm left with only mainline high street sellers.

No one is obliged to leave feedback.
    From ebay's feedback page
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/feedback/questions/leave.html

You have 60 days in which to leave Feedback from the date on which the listing ended or the buyer clicked Buy it now. You should wait until the transaction is complete before leaving Feedback - i.e. after the seller has received payment and the buyer has received the item.
There is no eBay policy that specifies who should leave Feedback first.

We strongly encourage everyone to leave Feedback. Without it, you wouldn't be able to evaluate other members before doing business with them. However, it's not compulsory and we can't ask a member to leave Feedback for you.
If your trading partner doesn't leave Feedback for you, you may choose to send them a polite reminder via email. If they still don't leave Feedback, it's likely they've chosen not to leave a comment for you at all.

I have my moments and mark down sellers that dont leave feedback...

I hope whoever sells to you knows they can get this reversed, it's against ebay policy.
You CAN NOT mark a seller performance down for not leaving feedback, it's not compulsory.
All sellers on here if this happens to you please report it.

or just (automatically) leave feedback when you get paid. It's pointless at any stage so no reason to delay it.
