i work full time and while he lives in the house i cant apply for any working tax credits to help me or child matinence. I dont know what to do and I dont want to miss my bills :(

Check on the benefits board if this is actually the case or not for tax credits.

Also, please keep your eye on the introduction of the Universal Credit benefits system. It might not ever see the light of day because its implementation has so many issues and isn't probably going to be rolled out for years if it ever gets off the ground at all.

However, tax credits are planned to be scrapped under UC and this means that the current means testing that now applies to things like HB, council tax discount and Income support will be applied to UC. Capital, that is currently ignored under tax credit rules, will then be counted.

This has the potential to impact landlords with a second property whose capital will start to be included under UC but is currently now ignored.

Yes because someone who is being this difficult and aggressive will just go "oh thats ok then, i'll just go away."

My wifes sister did this to try to stop her husband getting in and he literally just kicked the door down and came on in anyway. Didnt help his mood much either.
