So true MFD! Today I went to a zumba toning class, my goodness can I feel it. I went to Pilates last Sat as well, and heading to Pilates on Friday. Signed up for the classes in the local leisure centres- £29 a month. Need to go to at least six classes in the month to make it even to just paying per class, hoping that spending the money will also mean that I am more motivated....maybe!
MFD, its so hard to do such long hours, then on days off, not just want to be still! I also find that I crave days where I dont have to interact with people, as nursing can be draining. Not in an anti social way, just one day where I only spend time with people who dont take energy from me, like the hubby or close family and friends- the dogs are great on days like this!!
Our second OP went out on the 1st, cant wait to update, and currently, after second month of £250 OP, we aren't totally skint! Hooray!

So today, my OP still wasnt showing, I rang Tesc0 and they said it is applied separately, but back dated to the 1st. So basically, my £250.28 was just sat waiting! The nice guy applied it and apologised, though, now I understand, I will be more patient next time!
So next up, mortgage update!!!MFW2020 #115 250/3000 J-250

Monthly Payment: £666.72 + £250.28

We made it into the 154's! Sadly, we wont make it into the next bracket this month, hubby isnt interested in sending anymore money over, which I do understand! The next couple of months after should see us drop a bracket which is exciting!
Also, I think it is a year we have had this mortgage now, wow, time flies!

Oops went AWOL again! Quick mortgage update!
September 2019, see us at:
£153,817
We have reduced the overpayments to £50 from £250, this is due to Florida- just got back- being expensive and upcoming New York is also very, very expensive! Once these holibobs are over and we are back on track, will be increasing again!
Weirdly, Tesc0 are going to be stopping mortgages, and will be moving all the existing mortgages over to halIfax, shouldnt cause any issues regarding cost, as the fixed term will still stand. Bit unnerving though!
Will update more soon!

Sad about Thomas Cook going under, they did our flights to Orlando, they were great and friendly, especially given we flew home on Friday and it was all so uncertain for them. I was unable to sleep on Sunday night, I was awake at 3am when they announced the company was ceasing to trade.
As I was awake, I popped onto sky scanner and re-booked our flights for New York next year, we already have hotels booked so needed it to be same dates. Luckily, we have been using our 0% credit cards to pay for separate holidays since I stopped doing packages so I can use Section 75 to claim back the original flight costs. Virgin has come in at £50 more expensive than TC, which is negligable and though flight is later in the day will work out better.
Feel very sorry for all the TC staff, must be so awful, working hard, then all of a sudden, at 3am, it all stops. Also, lots of families are being screwed over by increasing costs to their holidays which sucks.
