Yay, congrats! :T :T :Ta penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

Congratulations, that's great news :T:T:T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Fantastic news Jodles. Down to 167's on your mortgage and getting the new job too! What a lovely way to end the year.
It's a shame your husband is away the nights you're home and vice versa. Hopefully the new job will give you both more time together and will relieve any anxiety you're starting to feel.

Thank you all! I am super pleased, will take 2-3months before I can start, will be nice to be back in the NHS though!
Did a long day yesterday, so much nicer than nights, might be busier but there is more staff and my brain functions more easily! No wonder night staff are hard to find permanantly! On for three nights, have swopped 23rd for tonight, so off for the whole of chrimbo, this is so exciting, well it will be, mostly I feel tired and grumpy today!Haha.
Amazonia apparently delivered my parcel to me today, um, no you didnt, I was home sat in the lounge with the dogs and we heard no knock etc. Will check with next door, he is home on and off in the day so perhaps the delivery driver dropped it with him...

After my long day completed three nights, have been pooped but off for hubby's birthday, he really likes the boss I got him so he can do archery properly at home. Slept badly on christmas eve, only got three hours so very sleepy on chrimbo day and in bed by 8pm!haha.
Slept better last night, off to see my dad and stepmum soon.
Have been very spoilt and have some wonderful gifts from amazing friends and family!
Merry Christmas you fabulous people!!
