Nights are so hard. I track my sleep and the difference when I work a night shift is shocking. I do like getting in bed when everyone else is going to work tho!

Hello all! Had a lovely time at the spa, foot rub was divine!! Have just got back from our UK holibob, was lovely, in the middle of nowhere and lots of walks! Spent the week pottering, they had real fires as well which was such a treat! Really want to put a fire in our house now, we bought an actual fire for £100 off a friend who was moving away but have never had it installed, maybe nows the time! Also went to the zoo with my dad and nephews yesterday which was so lovely!

In all the excitement of no internet at the holibob and zoo yest have only just been to check on the mortgage!haha. Will post my usual update in a few mins, needs its own post!

ETE it seemed like a good idea but we think it would have been cheaper overall to just buy a chassis!haha. Oh well, it is down the bottom of the garden now ready for when we have the money, weather and inclination to work it all out!

Muser you are so right, on the fatbit I have the sleep on nights/days is awful! So much restlessness and wakefullness, not sure how long I can hack permanent nights, already dreading this weeks!

Back to the grindstone, looking forward to payday next week, my first proper pay day in two months!!

    Hello Jodles,

Drum roll was definitely required there. Congratulations. Those numbers are fantastic.

Sorry to hear about your night working. I hope your feet enjoyed the spa.

Hey MFD, I hope your nights went super quick! I thought doing permenant nights would be better but my shifts are all over the show and I am just sleep deprived and grumpy...one shift in, one night off then in for two nights, then off for one night then back in for three nights...ouch.

Thanks MT, will be popping in soon!

    Cheers SJ!

Have applied for another job, feel bad as I have only been there a couple of months but might not even get shortlisted for this other job. Just dont know if I even want to be a nurse anymore...felt like this a while!

Updated my signature for the MFW challenges, makes me feel super pleased to see the progress! Especially as I have well managed my MFW yearly target and am on target for the three year challenge. Hubby was saying yesterday that he wants to pay off our credit card and mortgage so he can drop days to 3-4 in a few years. I think this is a great idea, dont necesarily want to retire anytime soon but less hours or even less pay from a fun job would be a great option!

Feeling apprehensive about nights, the tiredness is making me worry I will forget something...

I think the worry about nights is the worst part of nights! Not knowing how you are going to feel. I have the same anxiety that I will forget something or do something daft because I'm tired. Then other times it's a breeze.
