Happy New Staffie Day! I hope it all goes really well.

Thank you lovely people! Little dude is settling in well, he has to stay in our outdoor kennel as my two are not very accepting, but this works as he now gets chance to find his furever home! He is very sweet and quiet, super skinny but he is starting to trust us a little so coming out of his shell! Hoping someone will snap him up soon as he needs some consistency and love to help him trust people and help him gain weight!
Mortgage is now on new rate which makes me super excited! For the first time ever my car insurance quote was cheaper with the company I was with than anywhere else so that was good! Have set up the monthly payment of £1250 which is what we have been playing for the last two years, this is now £564.13 overpayment! This may change depending on take home pay from new job but at least once month we will have a great OP!
Have done house insurance and have paid £130.67 for the year, renewel quote was £270!! Ouchies! The money is much better in our pocket!
We cancelled Sky TV today as well as we realised we are now paying £30 for the pleasure...will be looking into getting a recording freeview box or now tv or something, if anyone has any advice about this let me know! Will be looking at our broadband as well.
Hoping to get back into checking in more as have gotten pants!

I am thinking of cancelling sky too... love the boxed sets though...
I would want a recording box too, doubt if OH will go for it.
We bought now TV for bnb room as have had trouble with freeview up there.. seems a bargainMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Wow that is an amazing monthly repayment, fantastic!
I bet the little dude is keeping you busy0 -
Oh MFD thanks for that, I have never watched any of the box sets on sky, but is that similar to Now TV? They do box sets I think. It cost £145 to have an aerial put up and installed as we only had the sky dish, the recording freeview box was £45, not too bad as sky is £32 so will soon enough be even!
Thanks ETE! I am so impressed and cant believe it after paying so much for two years! Wooohooo! Little dude is keeping me busy, not because of him, but because my two don't like him so its double walks etc, good for my walking though! He is quiet and sweet, love him! He is going to his furever home in September, can I get lots of crossed everything that it all works? He deserves to be loved so much!
Glad I jotted down this months OP on here because I normally put it on my word document and hadn't, doh! Can't wait to do the mortgage check tomorrow!
