Thanks for popping in Chumpy! Nice to see you!
ETE, I know what you mean with the auction, they have looked at others which went way over the max bid they could offer, it is so unpredictable on what price a place will actually go for! The plants and weeds are doing amazingly! The raspberries are coming through now and the strawberries are still going, think the potatoes will be done soon and one of the many tiny pumpkins we have is as big as my hand now! The apples, pear, plum and hazelnut tree are looking great but the peach and cherries have disappeared, birdies I suspect!haha.
Thanks SJ, I *think* (we know maths is not my strong suit!) that if my previous calculations were correct over a year each day would be £13.60 a day in interest, saving £10 a day pretty much from now! Phew will make such a difference!!

PS I have my half marathon at midnight tonight, all nervous now!!
PPS Car came to £240 for the brakes and service, she has a few problems which will need addressing soon, she has been such as great car since I bought her so I am a bit nervous about whether due to her age she might get too expensive! Things like corroded spring coil, pitted break thing and other bits! Also for the first time every my renewel quote from my current company has worked out cheaper than any new quotes including being £2cheaper than they say it would be with them online as a new customer! Amazing stuff!MFW2020 #115 250/3000 J-250

Last year we had no raspberries and hardly any strawberries and the potatoes were pants!haha. Think it is chance they are happy this year MFD!
Thanks ETE, we got a little shower just before set off but overall weather was fine!
Managed to walk the 13.1miles in 3hrs 59minutes which felt like such an amazing achievement! I am so pleased! Yesterday I could barely walk though and was soooo tired as it started at midnight! Today I am looking at marathon walks wondering if that might be a challenge in the future, hubby said he might be interested! Found one which takes you around London using monopoly! I found 13miles soooo hard though, we kept up a really good pace throughout and didnt stop but I would need to be a LOT lighter and fitter to double it!

All sounding positive for you Jodles. Well done on the midnight walk. A monopoly walk sounds like it would be quite fun enough to distract you from the discomfort after a few miles?
Very exciting stats there too! MTxx0 -
Well done on your walk, The monopoly walk sounds intriguing!0

Thanks MT, I think my only negative currently is work and I just try to avoid thinking about that too much!!haha.
Thanks ETE!
I have applied to do a canine massage course and am on a dog reiki course in August, this is part 1 and 2 of operation change careers, or at least I hope it will work! I was looking into Physio for pets but they want a lot of practical experience, and in the future would love to train in hydrotherapy for pets, only problem would be the set up involved if I wanted to open my own place!
Got a load of old decking boards from my dad so taking nails out to see how many we can save and then deck the old massive caravan chassis! We are also planning on taking down some of the caravan bits today. Have done more weeding as they are growing so well!haha.

Hi Jodles
Do you have a tiny house design to work towards, or will you be winging it? I would love to see some drawings

Hey SSS! Have a rough plan, its not going to have a bathroom/toilet in it as it will just be for the garden and the chassis for this smaller caravan would make it tight unless there was an upstairs part which would be a lot for the first time trying to build! The plan so far is too follow the youtube videos and web pages with advice on how to put the floor down once the old caravan has been taken off, it is completely empty now bar the floor and caravan shell! The other chassis left from the mobile home would have been 6ft by 30ft but it is in a safe position which wasn't where I wanted it so that's why we are decking it so it will be a nice place to sit out there!
In my head we are going to do it as a very simple shape with one side higher than the other to ensure water doesn't just sit on the roof, but to also make it a green roof as well! I plan on finding windows second hand, hoping to get a few interesting shapes etc. I think winging it is probably how I will go, have saved lots of images on Pinterest and if I ever make a proper drawing will definitely add it!
