Oh SJ that is exciting! Will be chrimbo before we know it as well!haha. Will be bobbing in for your update!
AFK I really hope insurance wont be naughty about the damage and will be good, getting it sorted sharpish!
Think I am maybe just all over a little grumpy this week, next door is doing DIY and the noise is driving me demented! He is off, I work from home around appointments...he is DIYing till 8pm at night...they are both lovely though and I think to myself the sooner he gets it done the sooner the noise is over...also we have horsetail, a horrid invasive weed in the front of the house, just found two in my border!!! ANGRY!! Not sure what to do, take a serious weedkiller to kill it and I dug down and still didn't find the roots...may just move plants from around it and weedkill it rather than cutting it and hoping.... Another sixty plants arrived today, looking forward to getting them in the ground! Got lots of £1 plants from the bargain bed the other day which was awesome. Borders are starting to fill up- with plants not just weeds!haha. Did another 3.4miles on Tues and then 4.33 and .7miles yest taking me to 5miles!
ETE thanks, I feel I am improving with the walking which is nice! You are spot on as well, one day I am super happy with morgage things, feel I have done so well, then the next I think, wow I owe £172xxx to the bank, that is insane money! Also sometimes the OP's could be used in other places, such as saving towards a driveway etc so good remind myself its a marathon! Or like your name, ETE, its one bite at a time!haha. And time does just seem to disappear, when I am going to get time to do X, Y and Z?!
So true MT, at least the good weather means less time inside more time out pottering, or just sitting in the sun reading which is lovely! Will take the time to smell the roses so too speak!haha.
MFD, thats a good way to look at it as well, reflecting back is such a good idea as well, in fact in May last year our mortgage was £181,381.40! Now it is £172,495.55, amazing! That's £8885.85 cleared! My mind was just blown at that!
Thank you all you lovely, lovely people for cheering me up when I am being a grump! Feeling much more on it now! Tomorrow is pay day, will also see interest added so can work out all the info ready for June 2016 update!!

Just popping in to say hello. I hope all is ok with you and that peace has resumed in your house if your neighbour has finished their DIY work.
