I'm sorry to hear about the extra 3 months Jodles. What's that about??? At least it's a good deal for 2 months time, but I understand the Meh feeling!

I looked at things for the garden a while back for my new lifestyle income home and fell in love with a few gypsy caravans. They were beautiful. I also looked online at a house that had a refurbished old train carriage in it, so there's so many things you can do with a little outside property.

I hope the tea has helped your mood.

Thanks MT, feeling much better today still bit grumpy about the mortgage, might cancel it and redo when closer as the monthly payment is based on last months mortgage, so another three payments will make it lower again, plus they are allowed to change rates in this time...ah well glad I realised now! Oh MT, the gypsy caravans look so beautiful! I love the idea of having one of them in the garden, would look amazing!

Did 5.88miles today, feeling all tired but pleased. Bestie came over with soup and butties which were lovely and we did some mooching around the shops. Was speaking to my mum about caravans, my grandad gave her his old one, and she has said we can have it as they arent going to use it! Amazing!

Bestie brought marigolds round as she has millions and my aunty gave us some more plants as well which we planted, my uncle also made us an amazing metal flower for the garden! It looks incredible!

Feeling spoilt by the nice folks in my life!

Did just over 3miles with my dad today, he has offered to buy me some proper walking shoes for my birfday!

Weather is all over the place, hail, rain, sleet then bright sunshine or dark greyness...

Just opened the 6% saver, going to split the £250 between me and hubby as I cant save that much on my own at the moment! Increased house money to £1200 as well so that means I can save about £125 a monthish!

It has gone so cold that I have put the heating on, room was under 15degrees...

I'm freezing too, had the fire on last night and probably tonight too. I'm such a wimp!
I'm sure you will notice a difference with walking shoes, do you have your eye on any?

Glad to know I am not the only one frozen ETE! A real fire would be lovely! Not seen any shoes yet, need to research this, do you have any recommendations? I used to get Karrimor but they just seemed to start falling apart really quickly...

Sent a TT of £14 over today, not including it in this months TT but into May's as it wont go through until after then anyway. That was the last £14 from April's payday, my money has topped up the house account and hubby sends his over today so it is looking healthy again, need more soil which will be around £100 and paying £300 to hire a hot tub for 10nights over my annual leave! I have sent an extra £400 in so that covers that which means we will have some money left over to either build the account up or get any other bits and pieces we want!

Did I tell you all my mum is gifting me her caravan she was gifted from my grandad?? How awesome is that?! My dad is pretty sure my car is too small to tow it though, its a 1.4. This is fine as we will probably try sleeping in the garden in it and using it as a garden room! Exciting, haven't actually seen it but my mum said it is in great condition and I have lots of amazing ideas of how to change it up into a unique caravan!

Tried to cancel mortgage switch but cant, no cooling off period included. The guy on the phone said we are guaranteed 2.98% no matter what now and that is why they offer the 'switch'. I advised that this terminology is very misleading and it should be made clearer! He did agree! Ah well, I like the bank overall, it is easy to use and I have the OP set up, there are no fees at all and it will still make a massive difference over all! I met the original challenge and kicked its butt so it is all good really!

6% saver has been opened and money is in! That is exciting!

Thinking about a realistic challenge to aim for by the end of the year as we have almost reached our OP target. This month I am hoping to OP an extra £112.70 after the £14 to get into the 171's in June...Not sure how feasible it will be but watch this space!

Another £43 sent off as a TT!

Bought two new bug houses for our bug house wall and wind chimes that are solar panelled so the ball lights up fun colours at night! Was on offer. Off to watch Captain America this afternoon and walking the pooch soon. Another day off! Woohoo!
