Hubby retuned the TV so I can now watch True Christmas!! Love all the so awful they are amazing christmas films!
Bought our flights for Greece next year, put them on the credit card as its 0% and protected. Will look at sending more money over tot he card at the end of the month depending what is left after Christmas and holiday savings.
Started our decorating on the weekend, love how full and colourful the house looks this time of year!

Hi Jodles! I've just had a read through your diary, and am SO impressed with how much you've paid off - and how much more capital you pay off each month now than in the beginning!
Finding a job that's tolerable can be such a challenge - I tried a lot of different things (including nights for about a year, it IS tough) before finding something I can see myself doing long-term. I love the idea that you and your hubby can both work less hours/have more flexibility in the future because of the choices you make now. There's so much more to life than paid work! Wishing you the best with the outcome of the interview0 -
Good luck with the job Jodles, I haaate being made to wait to find if you've been successful or not.
We love Christmas films my OH has turned into a complete mush ball these last few years. We were watching the Holiday at the weekend... not a tearjerker by any means and I caught him either wiping away tears or grinning at the TV!!Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Thanks Kahra, it must have taken some patience to read through my ramblings!haha. It is so true, its amazing what a difference that 5% made to the mortgage, its also amazed me at how quickly the mortgage is coming down compared to previously! We were easily paying £700++ just in interest and now its less than £500! Makes me giddy!haha. Hubby has worked about 60hours a week for the last two months, he is so excited at the thought of getting a less well paid job/doing less hours in the future! Poor thing!
Hi MFD, I know waiting sucks! Hubby is too nice, he keeps saying to me 'you will get the job, they couldnt not love you', which is lovely but I dont want to get too excited in case they dont want me!haha.
Having such a lazy week, I have no energy and am sleeping so badly. On Wed I couldnt find my car keys in work, had to get my stepdad to drive me home...was convinced I had binned them or something! After three hours nap, I got up to take the dogs for a play and couldnt find my coat, of course I had worn it too work and thats where my keys were!! Such a plonker, my deputy manager was laughing when I went to pick them up, I did try and persuade my mum to go in for me as I felt such a muffin!! Nights + brain = massive fail!
MFD I love the holiday, hoping it will be on TV or I may have a look see how much it is on the site of Amazonia! Love that your husband gets so into it, thats lovely!
Its another week of me on nights then hubby away the nights I am not, kinda takes away some of the christmasness as we watch the main christmas films together! My best friend dog sat overnight as we were both away this week. Think I am developing some anxiety symptoms again, getting the physiological signs such as butterflies but no obvious triggers, perhaps it is tiredness!
