Kaz - sorry to hear about your arm - hope it feels better soon

Not heard back from plumber or w/m people - and now I'm getting error messages when I wash too - and a laundry basket full!

I have s&s up and down, and hoovered through downstairs, and have also make a lamb curry for this evening - it used up diced lamb (YS), half a bag of onions, half a bag of peppers, and the naan bread from the freezer, and we will follow it with fruit and ice-cream which should clear 2 more boxes, so hopefully if we keep eating from the freezer I can defrost it on |Saturday. I am part way through filling in the diary for this term, but the computer beeped and I was hoping for an email re the w/m - but I didn't get one.

Got a quick 10 minutes before I need to ring a potential new piano teacher for DD. I will try to get pictures of pooch up here later on but I have to remember how to get into photobucket first :o.
Not had the best morning with Lily, she's been weeing and pooing everywhere! Crate has arrived. Other delivery has not. It's very tiresome waiting in all the time for deliveries :(.
I have done not a lot from the lists but will crack on this evening while there is DH here to entertain Lily.
Kids are both out at band so I shall have an hour to crack on!

Hi, just popping my head round the corner to say hello. I am going to try to start joining you a little bit but just the very basic level for now. I'm still suffering from OCD and am having therapy so mustn't make lists but the house is a bombsite and I need to try to do something!

    Hope all are well xx

Everything I planned to do (which wasn't very much) is done and dinner is prepped ready to be cooked when DH gets in - which could be very late.

    So competitions it is then.

    Have a great evening everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • I'm still working through my list...

    I've:
*Dusted the gas fire in the teaching room
    *cleared the bedroom table
*cleared one windowsill in teaching room and dusted
*kept on top of the washing up
*kept on top of dirty laundry (not just chucked it on the floor in the bedroom)
*wiped down the area by the microwave
*wiped down the area by the cooker that doesn't usually get touched

In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work

Mumof2 hugs and lovely to see you

    Kaz hugs for you too

Rain stopped here so I've done a couple of hours in next door's garden for some fresh air. Need to start dinner now.

DS2 has picked up a part time job for the month before he heads off to uni so that will be a bit more cash for him.

Once I've done dinner I'm going to hoover and mop downstairs.

Managed to get some washing line dried today.
    Kitchen clean and tidy.
    'New' phone mounted on wall.
In the course of finding fixings I have found some more bed castors so I might go fix DS's bed (again) which I plan to strip as he's gone on his holibobs (2 birds and all that)

  • Hi all
Thanks to everyone for ur kind welcome. Well it has been a slow start but hubby only gone back this morning so not much done yesterday but he did put a cupboard together for me (another piece of furniture from the flat) and I have put it in GC room to store nappies, towels, clothes and toys so at least that room is starting to look better.
Been out all day with both GC so again not a lot done but did 3 washes and have managed to line dry two lots even though they didn't go out till 4pm. Weather perked up later in day. DW emptied and restacked, bed made, bathroom S/S.
DH brought home two bin bags of clothes so going to sort those for charity, ebay or drawers ( he's bought a lot of casual stuff himself over the last 10 yrs :rotfl::rotfl:so a lot for the charity shop!!!!
The garage is our main problem as all the stuff he's brought home from the flat is in there so it's all to be sorted and got rid of!!! (fortunately the buyer has bought all the white goods and big furniture) :(:(
Little GD coming tomorrow but she's only 11 mths and is very good so should be able to do some off list.
Thanks again for ur kind support
