Cuppa made
Dw emptied and refilled
My girlies should be home from KHs about lunchtime so my teeny pinks will be occupied and stop nattering at me! I need everyone to try on their school clothes so I can name them. Bags need sorting. Shoes need finding though I should be collecting Moomins on Tuesday.
Must get the ebay stuff posted today.. its only 5 items but I need to pop to wool shop too, see if I can find some gold coloured bamboo or merino yarn I like. OHs mum found a pattern she likes so I thought it might make a nice Christmas gift.
After gutting the older girls room yesterday I am very very tempted to do the teeny girls room today.. I have loads for CS. I want to do the boys room too but it smells! I need to refill their dehumidifier block thing before it gets damp in there and get a quote for replacing the side guttering, it has plastic crap up which bends with the rain. I need to reputty a tiny window too.. I had rain in my house!!! I must wallpaper the loo and the front room before I lose motivation.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Small naughties playing nicely for 5 minutes so I may get time to do something productive before I dress them and fling them in the garden. Going out to hang out laundry with my kitchen broom to sweep up those stripey spiders!!We have millions of them!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning everyone - sorry I've been awol - had three pages to catch up on since yesterday morning!!
Welcome to newbies.
I too have been up since 6 - delayed cake baking until this morning and must admit it looks good. hope it's OK when cut into!!!
Sharing virtual pieces with you all as it is non-fattening that way- double layer coffee and walnut with very very finely chopped walnut pieces in the inside and on the top.
Off to Vol job 2 for 10 for coffee morning then will go for a long walk and eat my lunch on Fleetwood promenade looking out over Morecambe Bay towards the Lakes. It is a lovely day here so that will refresh my soul.
Thanks for the good wishes for DSGF will let you know later if any news.
Great about DS2 temp job Dusty - hope your worry wort from yesterday has lifted a little. - hope Dr apt went OK too.

A word of advice.. don't!!
Back up pics, vids, recipes, documents etc to disc and just format it.. you don't need those 1000 year old emails and live mail just downloads them all again anyway.. I had about 15,000!!!!
I actually ran a back up to an external hard drive (we have 3 just for this purpose, had them years) .. 1 click and all my vital irreplaceable stuff was saved.. I then deleted everything and started afresh.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Washing in and out and on..
Cats decluttering a huge stripey dragonfly in the garden.. I actually despise them, but its pretty gross... it keeps buzzing about so they leap on it... utterly gross!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

(((Hugs))) Dusty - hope your appt with the Dr went OK and you have a treatment plan.
Yesterday's list updated:
- call in to see NDN about them coming for a meal sometime soon - they went out for the day
- [STRIKE]spend the morning at SW with DH, who has tried really hard this week to stick to the plan[/STRIKE] - he lost 4lb, got his 3 stone award and was Slimmer of the Week :j :T :j
[STRIKE]- make 2 phonecalls
- write 2 emails[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- sort DD's card and present[/STRIKE] and post the card
[STRIKE]- finalise an order for spring flowering bulbs on special offer [/STRIKE]
- hope that it stops raining long enough for me to screw the handle on the outdoor storage box (it looks as if it's set in for a few more hours ) - it didn't!
- do some paperwork - only managed a tiny bit which is hardly worth counting
- [STRIKE]work out how to make a new hanging drawer (fabric on an existing wooden frame) for Granny's needlework table[/STRIKE] - might have to buy some plain silky fabric - planned how to do it and also found some material of exactly the right type and colour in one of my resources boxes, which I will have to replace next week (but it saves me a trip to the shops this week)
- [STRIKE]do food shopping[/STRIKE] and other bits
- wipe out the oven after cooking SW chips for this evening's meal - we had pasta instead
Today the sun is shining and I have already
- sorted the washing
- had breakfast
- made a packed lunch for DH and sent him out to work on the railway
- S&S'd kitchen and bathroom
Now I must
- shower and get dressed
- revise my shopping list to take account of the @ld1 shop I did yesterday
- call in to see NDN
- post DD's card
- go to Sainsbugs and then to 1k€@ to buy DD's present (late-night shopping, as DH is at working from the far end of the line and therefore the car is sitting in the station car park all day)
- make 3 phonecalls
- send 2 emails
- WMx2
- screw the new handle on the outdoor storage box
- mow the lawn
- start making the new hanging drawer for Granny's needlework table, which will involve sawing plywood, cutting plastic stiffener and tacking / machining padding and silky fabric (but I will need to go to the local craft shop and get some trim to finish it off tomorrow)
As DH said, that should keep me out of mischief. Me? Mischief? :rotfl: Chance would be a fine thing!0
