Morning everyone, on a bit of a downer today despite being off the paid stuff so am planning on getting out in the garden to be in a calm place.

(((Hugs))) Jazee. Will join you in the garden when I've done the desk stuff.
Sharing virtual pieces with you all as it is non-fattening that way- double layer coffee and walnut with very very finely chopped walnut pieces in the inside and on the top.

Morning all, been up a while as had Dr appointment; she's tweaking my meds so my anxiety isn't so high and my weight gain isn't as bad (I've put on over a stone since I've been on them :()

Looking after a friend's chickens and rabbits whilst she's on holiday so just been up to do them with Z - she looked after ours the other week while we were away so nice to return the favour.

I'm going to vacuum the floor in the bedroom and landing as per today's level 1 and may do a bit more besides. Got a new Dyson which is great to use and very satisfying as it really cleans the floor.

You won't know but got 2 dogs now - have Pip the JRT as well as Whiz our Whippet puppy who is gorgeous! I spend a lot of the time taking things away from him; he trots around with my shoes in his mouth a lot of the time - doesn't chew them but likes one of them in his bed when he sleeps :A!

  • Good morning all.

Hope you are all well and sending hugs and get well vibes to anyone who may need them.

I have been reading and keeping up as much as I can but haven't posted for a while. I am struggling majorly with the BD and think I need to make a doctors app, but just the thought makes me sick. Don't think the holidays have helped as I've actually had no reason to leave the house, so I haven't. I just want to curl up and sleep.

Valli- Thank you for the info on the carboot , I did read it, Just haven't been on the laptop since. Still haven't been for a nosey round though.

Today I am trying to get my bottom in gear, I was up before 7 (been 10 most days as I haven't been sleeping) Our bed is stripped and almost washed.
Have a loads of washing to get done and it's supposed to be nice here today.
DH has just gone to fetch some milk so I can have coffee and breakfast and will then shout up any DC that haven't appeared (only DS1 so far).
Must start sorting school uniforms before there is none left in the shops, Need to get some name tags sorted and all 5 need shoes/trainers/plimsolls. But we still have 12 more sleeps before the 1st goes back (yes, I'm counting down, LOL).

Right DH is back (and DS2 has just appeared) so going to make a drink, empty and reload DW and hang some washing out before I start on the lists.

Morning all! I've washed up and packed my bag!

Other than that, no flying for me today as I'm heading to the National Archives to read through files relating to my Grandfather's death in WWII. One is a War Crimes file that was only unsealed 9 months ago - I'm really quite nervous about what it might reveal :o

Glad the weather has brightened up as I'm also hoping to go and find my great uncle's name on the Tower Hill memorial and to see the Tower of London poppies.

Mumof2 - good to have you back x

ionafan - well done to DH x

Hugs for all who want or need one xx

    Morning all.

I slept through my 6am alarms again this morning so had a mad dash to be up, dressed and presentable before the delivery man arrived :o DD slept through hers as well but was still up before me. Anyways, delivery here and my first stocking stuffer for DD has arrived :D I've looked through the paperwork and "filed" it in the cupboard ready to be sorted next week when I'm back at work ;)

DD has vacuumed the sofa this morning after informing me that she had a spider on her earlier while she was sitting on it but she wasn't sure where it went when she stood up  It was disgusting but as clean as possible now. She's under orders to wash up then she can have some free time while I get on with stuff.

We need to start the painting today but our decorating clothes aren't dry yet. So my priority right now is the online shopping first as it'll take at least 2 days to arrive! I have my laptop out doing its virus scan as it hasn't run one for nearly a month as I kept stopping it. So I've borrowed DD's again so I can make a start on stuff. As soon as I can update my accounts I can start working out the best way to pay for stuff. Off to measure windows for nets while things do their thing :D
