  • Morning all.
This is the first time I have more than skim read for ages. Hugs to those accepting them for whatever reason they may be needed. Feeling a little down today myself as not slept since 3 - been fretting about "stuff" I can't control.

Ionafan is right the Flylady community is wonderful - thanks everyone.

Checked and DH pay is in the right acct t goodness - didn't trust the 7 day acct swap would work!

Trying to get myself organised with a prioritised To Do list today - phone calls, emails - banking. Then off to the Museum this afternoon for an extra shift as it is Fleetwood Folk Festival this weekend. Raining at the moment so may just do HHI before it is time to do the calls.

Dusty would love to have a September challenge please - it would need to be paperwork for me - still!! Smilies don't seem to be working on this laptop?!!!

My September challenge is simple.. get the back room rebuilt and sort the girls room so Pixie can be banished out of my room thus creating space for my gubbins.

I've not knitted!! I shall do that now.

Bus practise run went fine thanks Dusty apart from Z would have missed the stop if I hadn't been there! She goes in real Dolly Daydream mode, she was just enjoying the ride, bless her. I didn't sit with her (strictly forbidden by her) and was a few seats back and was thinking go on, press the button, press it, press it! She didn't so I did and then I walked her back to where she should have started to clock where our next stop would be and I think she has it now (or I hope so!) She's on about doing it on her own on Monday; I'm not sure if she really needs to so we'll see. She won't have a long day - bus leaves at 8.05 and returns at 3.35 but if she'd have got her first choice school it would be much more like your son is having - they do adapt though don't they.

Will have some paid stuff to do today and will probably do the basins and toilets this morning. Z is on about doing some baking today - it's S's turn to be with friends.

Mummyroysof3 glad you've got the DW sorted.

Mrs-MP so sorry to hear about the teacher; I obviously wasn't here at the start of the holidays. Hope the service goes as well as can be expected.

Iona so glad you're feeling such a lot better now :)

right been hole in the wall, bottle bank, clothes bank, and nipped in a couple of shops. bought some gorgeous braclelets and neckleces for christmas cracker filler and little pressies the kids can use. hand made and 50p each. proper ones with glass beads and lovely charms on. they are for charity so i gave her extra and said she should change the price to minimum suggested donation. nipped in sains local they have loads of light bulbs rtc at 49p each worth checking if you need to restock your own supplies.
made a friends day by giving her a t shirt id had years but never worn. it has a picture of Elvis on the front in bright pink. it went lovely with her doc martin boots, she was thrilled.

anyone want to join me for a 10.30 HHCx2?

Dentist decluttered, just having a cuppa

JTTOU hugs sweetie, I so know that 3am thinking/stressing feeling

Ionafan glad you are feeling better

Mrs MP hugs for the memorial service

Mumto2 hopefully there will be other children on the bus to push the bell and all get off at the same stop. DS2 can get off at 3 different stops depending on how far he wants to walk.

Waiting for towels to finish and go on the line then think I'll take DS3 blackberry picking before lunch and then off to paid gardening - not a bad life really.

    thanks Dusty.

thank you for the company iona and mumof2, hope you both achieved what you set out to do. i did well, washed up, hung washing out, gathered up broken clothes pegs and litter from garden along with a broken solar light and binned it all. compost in compost bin. binned a load of old photos that were blurry or nothing ones (shredded the ones with recognisable people on) shredded a load of old papers and letters filled a paper recycling bag going to sweep through downstairs and do the stairs and upstairs with the dyson next
