Ex has given £10 towards ds2 tuition lesson. His lessons cost £25 and I had already budgeted for it.
I will keep that in my purse for the rest of the week in case I run out of something or the kids need anything.
I have now transferred the £3 from my shopping budget and £5 from my petrol budget into my emergency fund which now stands at £19.03Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Bank and spreadsheet checked this morning. Mortgage payment has now been taken out.
I have lost my Nationwide card reader so I have had to order a new one.
Have already done the last of the ironing this morning and put the washing machine on.
I need to call Hitachi finance about my loan this morning and pay this off. I can't wait to get rid of it. Even if I don't get to transfer this to the 0% card it will still be cheaper on my MBNA card.Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Yeah, payment now made to Hitachi Finance.
I have now cancelled the direct debit and they will send me a letter in the post confirming that the account is now closed.
The settlement figure was a little more but that must be due to 2 days added interest.
Amount paid
Settlement figure £1856.91
Credit card charge £46.42
Total paid £1903.33
I know it hasn't cleared the debt but I have saved £1379.67

Thought I would call Baxi to register the new boiler I had in February as it comes with a 2 year warranty.
I have been all round the houses with domestic and general who do the service plan.
In February I was told that I still have to pay for the service for one year even though my boiler was replaced but when I called today they said that my old boiler was registered on the plan and they couldn't understand why I was paying for the new plan on a old boiler.
They said they will cancel it but I may not get a refund for the 3 months I have already paid.
If it can be cancelled then I will save £19.50pm which I will be happy with
For some reason I am not feeling too confident with this and will wait to hear from them about the cancellation before I cancel the direct debit

Had to call them back to report my leaking washing machine after they fixed it

Every morning I have to mop the kitchen floor before the lodger enters the kitchen and slips on the water.
At least someone is coming out this Thursday

Finally the end of the day and I have just spent the last 25 minutes trying to defrost part of the freezer
Door wouldn't shut properly and I couldn't leave it overnight. I'll have to finish this off tomorrow.
At least I have ended the day with no spending

My legs are aching this morning after going to the gym last night.
I guess no pain no gain - If I want to see a weight loss this week I have to try harder than last week.
Bank accounts checked - The payment to Hitachi finance is already showing as pending on my MBNA card
Cap 1 have now produced my statement and added £57.41 interest
Balances so far are
Cap 1 £2353.95
Mbna £2055.07
Loan 1 £0
Can't wait for the Lloyds card to arrive and the balances to be transferred. I am hoping this will all be done by the payment dates 31st May.
I have had a think this morning about the boiler cover I have been paying. After the customer service rep said that I am unlikely to get a refund for the months already paid, I really think I should.
I have found the paperwork for last years cover which actually should have ended on 9th Feb 15 and I called to report my boiler faulty on 21st Jan under that policy. When I made that call the person should have just arranged for the engineer call out but instead he urged me to take out a new plan.
I can't believe I fell for this and should have just stuck to what I was doing.
My boiler was replaced on 3rd Feb so my previous policy would have covered this
I will ring again and try and explain this and hopefully get a refund which would be £76.
No matter how much you try to watch the pennies companies are always trying to take extra.
Checked mobile bill and ds1 £5 credit has been taken off and he has gone over his data allowance so I will now have to pay an extra £10. I will also have to give them a call to find out why the credit has been removed.Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Yeah :j
Success with Dom & gen. They have agreed that the policy should never have been taken out and my boiler as replaced under my old policy.
I should get a full refund within the next 5-7 working days.
Saving £228 for the year.

Looks like I have been lucky today making these calls.
Spoke to T-mobile they will refund the £5 extra I have had to pay and also apply the £5 loyalty discount to future bills.
This months bill of £29 is due to come out tomorrow so I will just have to pay that but it will sort it self out next month when I will pay £10 less.
Also spoken to ds1 and told him to make sure he is using his wfi-fi when at home / grandparents and next time he gets a message to say he is near his data to tell me
It's the first time he has done it and at least it was only an extra £6 so I can't complain too much.
Also had an email from Very this morning about my returns. I did send everything back in the same box but the email said the shoes I returned were not on the order I placed !!!!!
Gave them a call and it was nothing to do with the shoes...It was to do with the trainers. I said everything which was on the order was sent back at the same time so the customer service rep has credited my account.
After all that work I now have to start my paid work dealing with customer complaints :rotfl:Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Ok things have now become weird.
I am waiting patiently for my new Lloyds card to arrive. I have just received my post, there is no Lloyds card but I do now have a new Barclaycard with a £7900 credit limit...
I had no idea that the application was accepted and didn't think I would hear anything from them. (stupid internet connection)
This card would have been great to transfer my loan and cap1 balance to.
I still have Loan 2 which is at 5.75% and I am paying £143.89 per month. Not sure if it is worth transferring this to a 0% card.
I am so confused now. I have no idea what to do. I really just want to pay everything off, not move it all around.
Universe, please could you send me a cheque tomorrow to clear my debts in full and enough for a new car. I will not complain about this I promise
