So whats been happening in the last week?
OH received his tax refund from last year, so this money has been put into the wedding fund. We are budgeting 6000€ total cost, but hoping that it will e a lot less then that.
We are planning on getting married at the end of this year, our city where we live will not allow you to book the ceremony longer than 6 months and 2 weeks in advance, so we have to wait until the end of this month to be able to book it. Once we know that we have the date we want then we can start sending out invites and booking the place we want for the reception. Then we will have more of an idea of the costs, we have an estimate for the reception based on the amount of people we will be inviting, knowing that some won't be able to travel over.
We have also send some money to both of our free invest plans, this is part of our long term savings plan. The money needs to be kept in this plan for 8 years to avoid any penalties.
Work is still work, enough said. I am enjoying the new saturday hours though, 1 and 3/4 days off work in a row. :T
So far this weekend I have done:
The washing and got it on the racks drying.

Ooops it's been 3 months since I last posted.
RL has been getting in the way as always.
Work is quiet at the moment so OH and I are on reduced hours, due to it being the summer holidays. I know the last week in Aug we will be back to our normal hours. Just not sure about the 2 weeks before that.
We have taken a trip back home to visit family. Was good to go back but reminded me how much I missed being there, spent the whole of last week moping about. This week I have got back to being content with my life here.
Self employed work is still ongoing, not made my millions from it yet, but need to just keep on going with it.
Works contract with the city is up at the end of the year, so they are now starting the bidding process for the new contracts. If they win the contract again then my job should be safe until the contract needs to be renewed again. If not, then they can either give me work in another location or the company that wins the contract can decide to employ me and i'd still work in the same places or decide not to. It could mean that I am put of a job come Jan 1st.
Either way I have told OH that we now need to rein our spending in.
We have pre booked a venue for our wedding reception which we are both keen to still use, need to contact them again next week to make further arrangements.
We have also paid a deposit for a velux bind for our spare bedroom. I wasn't too bothered with getting the blind this year until the neighbours behind us started sitting out in the garden and making such a noise, that when OH or I have tried to nap in the day they kept us awake, so we have ordered the blind so we can use the other bedroom where the neighbours can't be heard.
Bills are still being paid and the yearly bills have been saved for in advance.
Debts and Mortgage are still going down.
Need to make time to start posting again.PAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉

In the last 2 weeks since I last posted, I have been working working working.
Work #1 decided to tell OH and I on the Tuesday, that the evening contract had started back up again. We had a 4 weeks unpaid break from it. We had to do 80 hours of work between us and it had to be completed by the Friday. There was no way to get the 80 hours done in 4 days and still do the mornings work aswell. Our boss was able to contact the contractor and get us an extension on the work. We still couldn't do the 80 hours but the work still had to be completed in the 8 days we were given to now do it by.
The 1st 4 days we only did 16 hours of the 80. Couldn't do no more as we had appointments and other work to do.
Week 2, the Monday was a paid holiday here, so no work then. The other 4 days of the week we did 4 hours each in the afternoon towards the 80 hours. Our other boss then came on Wednesday and told us the 80 hours didn't need to be completed until 30th Aug, so it turns out we have 8 more days still to finish the work.
Next week we will be back to working 2 hours each in the afternoons, along with our morning hours, this will bring us back to our contracted hours.
Need to get started on my todo list, then I can do some SE work.PAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉

Since my last post it has been all work no play.
My manager called into work and told us that the 80 hours we needed to complete by the end of the week, was incorrect we had last week also and Mon, Tue and Wed of this week to complete the hours.
OH and I managed to get on track and we have just 12 hours (6 each) of work to do in the 3 days this week. Pleased we managed to get it all done so far.
SE work going well, had a few more enquiries this month. Just need to convert them into customers. Good feedback from customers this month, really pleased with how well things are going.
Managed a few jobs yesterday and today.
Washing done and dried yesterday while we had blazing sunshine.
Work washing done today, not drying so good as it's not as warm today.
Work hours have been sent to both work #1 and #2, this normally gets forgotten till bedtime and then it's a mad rush to do it before bed.
Need to go out to the Health fund and put a receipt through their letterbox for a DR visit OH had, hope that gets paid back this week.PAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉

Been a while since I last posted, lots has happened but too much to post it all.
I need to get back into posting on here, so I'm going to start from the last few days.
Spends have been quite low, but expected and needed.
9.53€ Top up shop
31.75€ Post office, needed to post 1st lot of wedding invites
42.84€ Petrol
53€ Hoodie for OH and a hoodie and top for me.
Yesterday while at MIL house, I asked her about us changing our gas and energy supplier, as our 3 year contract is now up. So we went and found what we hope is the best supplier/price for us. As the website is Dutch/French thought it was better to get her to look at it with me, as she is a Belgian. The new price will start from the 1st Nov. Nov 2015 end of year bill showed that we paid 2300€ for gas and elecy, hoping this end of year bill next month is a bit less than that. The comparison site shows we should be about 800€ per year better off, based on the usage Nov14 - Nov 15, I'm sure that this year we should have used less, will see next month when the end of year bill comes in.PAYDBX 2020 - #01 Pd £15,029.29 / £13,140.66 - 114% 🎉
