OH and I received our wages from W1 on Friday, wages from W2 were also due then, but didn't get paid until today. Just need to wait for payslips from both CO's so I know how much tax to put by and how much I can put in our pensions fund.

The mortgage payment came out on the 1st which included the agreed OP.

Thursday OH and I had an appointment at the bank, we set up our pensions and have opened an insurance policy with the bank.
The policy we have to pay in a min payment of 30€ per year and the money stays there for 8 years and 1 month, if we take the money out before there is a fee for that, there is also a fee every time we add money into the policy, but the interest we earn on the money more then covers the fees. Each month we will add more into the policy, the min amount is 30€ each time we add money and the max amount each time is 2500€
The pension is a mutual fund plan. We are only allowed to save a max of 940€ each per year in a pension fund, so we are going to add up to the max amount each year, there is a DD set up for this each month. We will be able to save 30% tax on this 940€ each year, we we will also put the 282€ we save into the policy to make more money on it.

Payslips from both Co#1 and #2 have been received, YNAB has been updated and money has been shuffled into correct pots on YNAB.

We have been able to add a bit into our wedding fund. Some of the money was from wages this month and a big amount has come from money left over from last years vacation money. We will be receiving this years vacation money in May this year to last the whole year and will more then cover what we need.

The 1st payment for our pensions has gone out and we are able to see this on our online banking along with our free invest that we recently opened. We will add more money into the free invest later this month.

Wages advance for both CO's #1 and #2 have been received, they have been budgeted for April as all bills have been covered this month.

Work is still work, still no more news on the Saturday/ Sunday shifts, just have to keep waiting I suppose.

    No more news. xx

Since I last posted 3 weeks ago, there have been some good and some bad things.

    The good.
I decided to join Juice+ and became a distributor to try and earn some extra money each month. I did start off with being a customer, trying to shift a few lbs before the summer, up until last weekend I had lost 1.9kg and that was in just 2 weeks. tomorrow is my weigh day, hoping I have lost a bit more, I am hoping to lose about 5.5kg overall by June.
I have been paid for both work # 1 and #2, payslip for #2 has been received just waiting for payslip from #1, so I can see how much tax has been paid, then I can put some extra away for tax and pensions.

    The not so good.
We had to call the breakdown services out to get our car to start. He advised us that since our car was 11 years old, we would keep getting the same problems getting the car to start up 1st time each day. Wasn't too happy to hear this as we have to start work at 6am and would be late if we couldn't get the car to start and then have to cycle to work.

We were trying hold off buying another car until the MOT was due in early Nov, but we decided that we would be better getting a new car now, it did mean that we had to raid our emergency fund to cover about half the cost of the new car, it's a 2nd hand car and only a year old, with no MOT due until 2019, the tax is cheaper each year and the cost of 3rd party fire and theft is also cheaper. The cost to have the insurance fully comp is so outrageous here but we decided that since it was still only a year old we would take this out.
We also had 1 years fee breakdown cover with the new car, so will need to cancel the one that we pay for now, but still save the money for this, so that in a years time we will have enough to pay for it again in 1 go.
There was money is our new card pot and car repairs pot on YNAB so I have moved the repairs over to the new car fund. It does mean that we have an ugly red figure now in YNAB but we are determind to pay our emergency fund back.

Not too much done today, having a lazy day.

Chilli from the freezer for dinner today, so glad I had made extra last week.

Work has finally changed my Saturday hours as from yesterday, :j I still work 6 days a week now, I used to work 6am-8am (2hrs) and then again from 5.15pm-7pm (1.75hrs), my new hours are 6am-9.45 am so still same amount of hours just all in 1 shift. Yesterday at 8am I was feeling ready to leave, but had to remember that I was there longer. At 5pm yesterday when I would usually be getting ready to leave for work it felt so good knowing that work was already done for the day.

So far this weekend I have DONE

    Washing 2 loads.
Unloaded and re loaded the dishwasher.
Put 1 load of washing on heaters to dry.
Popped to the shop and got 2 rolls 1 for me and 1 for OH
    Got battrey for scales.
Weighed myself and taken measurements for JP summer challenge.

    Still to do
