Went back to work Friday and Saturday last week after 8 days of work. Friday was tough, found it exhausting on Friday, the people that covered DH and I did an OK job, has been a lot worse, but wasn't the best, takes a few days to make the place look as clean as when we work. The evening cleaning job, which should have been an easy evening was just as exhausting. They only sent 1 person to cover both DH and I, so she did 4 hours of work on her own. It can be done all by 1 person, just a lonely 4 hours though. Anyway the evening place was a mess and had not been left as tidy as when we leave it when we finish. So DH and I spent at least 15 mins each tidying up before we could start our work.:mad:

Our team leader came to work on the Friday morning to give us our keys back for the evening work. She told us that there was a meeting on Monday morning with the client, they would be discussing the contract (which expires on 31st Dec) and that she would contact us that day to let us know if our company has won contract again. She didn't contact us yet.

Full week in work this week with CO #1, then next week is the start of school holidays, so we don't need to clean that week. If our company still has the contract then we would clean the 2nd week of the holidays. CO #2 we cleaned for yesterday and we were asked to stay a bit longer, so ended up doing an extra hour each. OH and I decided that the extra money we would keep for us and not put the money into the household budget. We are working both this Thurs and next Thurs for CO #2, since we were off last Thurs they agreed to shift last weeks work to this week so that we still clean 2 Thurs in Dec.

There is prob more news to update but need to get ready for work now, need to leave in 10-15 mins. oope better log off.

Work is over for another day. :j

DH messaged our team leader, to find out if there was any news on the contracts. The reply back we we have news, but our manager would be coming to work to discuss it. So I was on edge all morning and then again evening in work, waiting incase she turned up. She didn't.
So we have another day of waiting. Our manager doesn't work Fridays, so there is just 2 days left this week and then 4 days next week to hear, before the end of the contract. Work is not very forward with giving information.

I want to make myself accountable for items that need doing daily, so am going to post them here, to make me do them and to make me come into the forum each day.

    So Monday:
    Walk 12,000 - 12,500plus steps - Done
S/E work Min 2 hours - Not Done

Also not done 2 hours today either, so want to make up what I miss over the week. Will post back tomorrow.
