This week our advance pay from work #1 hit the account. Advance for #2 should be in the account tomorrow or Tuesday. The advance from both companies will be saved until next month, as this months bills and categories have all been topped up.

Money left over from last months wages have been split.
For the 2nd month in a row, we have been able to add a bit extra to the mortgage category in YNAB. We are unable to overpay on the mortgage, but we wanted to add a bit when we can, just incase.

A small amount has also been added to the elecy and gas category. This is paid monthly, and at the end of the year we get a bill. I always try and have a bit extra in there to cover the amount we are short.
We have a baby emergencgy fund and also a 3-6 month emergency fund. In the baby emergency fund we have that topped up to €1,500 and there is now €3,750 / €15,000 in the 3-6 month emergency fund.

This week the car needed a service, so that came out of the car repairs fund. While we were there, we also seen that their breakdown service was €48. We had 1 years free when we bought the car, the year before when we paid for breakdown service it cost us €174.50 for the same service. So we got the cheaper breakdown cover. The money left over in the breakdown service category has been moved into the new car category. We are still paying our savings back the money we used for the new car last year.

Money has also been put into both our pensions fund and both our tax categorys.

We didn't get to bed until 10.15pm, we could have gone a bit earlier if we had shut the laptops off. Lights were off by 10.30pm though.
Didn't walk anywhere near 10,000 steps, did less then 2,000 as I spend most of time sitting on the sofa.
    Could have done better.

Sounds like you are well on top of all your different pots of money, well done!

I hate it when I end up sitting down for most of the day, I always feel worse for it at the end of the day. Hope you manage to get some steps in today :)
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.

Morning Treadingonplaymobil, thanks for you comments. I have been using YNAB for a while now so that has helped with the different pots.

I did do more steps yesterday, I managed over 12,000

I have subscribed to your diary, not had time to have a read yet though.
