Still no news from work over next years contracts. When we got to Friday evening I was a bit glad we hadn't heard, so that we could enjoy Christmas. Now just got this week to find out.

Next week we don't work in the afternoons/ evenings only mornings, so that's 20 hours between us that we don't get paid for. So glad I started saving money to cover school holidays when we don't work.

Wanted to look at budgets for next year, that's on hold now until we know more from work.

Been so busy with work since my last update.

The good news, our contracts have been renewed, so we still keep our same jobs, same hours.
I was a bit annoyed, but didn't tell my boss that though. She called me on Thurs 28th asking us about our Monday hours, nothing had been said to us, so I asked her what was happening with next years contracts. She told me everything was staying the same, I did say, since we hadn't heard we were a bit worried, she then said they hadn't called as nothing had changed. So I say's oh now we have news, I can sleep tonight, haven't slept proper in days.
New contacts came through, signed and posted back. :j:j

Payday has been and gone for both CO#1 and #2, had payslip from #1 but still waiting for payslip from #2. Once I have that I can save some for taxes, which will be payable later in the year.

Pension money went out just before the end of the year. Each year we can put €940 in our pensions fund, so that has all be added.

Cable and mobile phones bill has come and been paid, so I don't forget to pay this.

Still waiting for last years tax bill for both OH and I.
Also waiting for the reception bill from the wedding. That was just over a month ago now.
We have the money in the bank to pay both these bills, in some ways i'm thinking, the longer it stays in my account, the better it is for me. But then i'm also thinking, once they are paid, the money left in the bank is for us.

Work and S/E work have been busy, leaving not a lot of extra time for myself.

    Time to go and eat.

Another big gap between posts, oops.
Would like to say it was due to being off on some kind of exotic holiday, but it wasn't.
Need to get back into posting more.

Whats happend since my last post.:question:

Payday for both work #1 and #2 has been and gone. Only had payslips for work #2 so far, want to see how much tax we paid, so I can add some more to savings for next years tax shortfall.

Finally had the big bills we were waiting for, the wedding reception bill was less then we thought. They had the wrong amount of deposit on the bill, so I called them and said "we paid more deposit then the bill says, can I knock the rest of the deposit money off the bill myself then" they said" thats possible that you did pay the amount you say, yes pay less the rest of the deposit" So I paid them straight away, so I know that is now done and out the way.

The taxes bills finally came, they should have been here between Sept - Nov last year and we would have had to pay by the end of the year. They didn't turn up until Feb this year. OH's was slightly less then the online tax form had indicated, mine was exactly right. Both these were paid the day we received the bill.

With my S/E work, I work in MLM. At the end of January I gained a promotion with this. All my money from this will now be paid at a higher rate of commission. :j:j

I have booked for OH and myself to go to an event with my S/E company. It's a 2 day event, but is in Spain, so we are in the process of booking a hotel for the event, but added a few extra days so that we can have so us time too. Once the hotel is booked, we just need to find flights. :):)

Need to start working more with my S/E work while also giving myself me time. Not playing FB games time.
So for the rest of the month I am going to set myself some targets, which I hope will motivate me and keep me on track.
So will be starting this from tomorrow as it's nearly bed time now lol.

S/E work approx 2 hours per day. 0/16
Bed by 10pm unless there is a team call 0/14
Drink 1.5 ltrs of water per day. 0/16
Time for me/ OH not wasting it on fb games 0/16
Walk 10,000 steps per day 0/16
No devises to bed, ipod, phone etc. 0/16

S/E work can be done in less then 2 hours some days but more other days. If I have time left over 1 day, then I can prepare ready fo the next day.
Bedtimes are getting later and later for us, I get up for work at 5.00am so really need to be in bed by 10, not making a cup of tea to take to bed at 10.30
Drinking water, I know I need to drink more then this, but find it tough, so days I don't drink 500ml which needs to stop. I feel light heading if I don't drink enough.
Time for me and OH, I spend do much time wasting it on fb game thet this needs o stop. I could be reading or doing crossword puzzels or anything better.
Walking, while in work I do loads of walking, it's the days when I do less hours and Sundays that my steps fall short.
The last few months I have been havign trouble dropping off to sleep, since I stopped taking the devices to bed to read I have fallen asleep much better, hoping it continues.

Yesterday went good. Didn't do 2 hrs S/E work, but was happy enough with what I did, couldn't do any prep work for today.
Was in bed before 10pm, lights out about 10.15 as hubby and I had tea in bed.
Nearly didn't drink anough water, forces the last 500ml down me.
    Walked over 12,000 steps.
    All devices were left downstairs.

    Only spends yesterday were bread.

Confirmation that our hotel is booked for Spain. Flights now also booked and request been sent to work for the time off.

Yesterday OH and I both received a gift card in the post from work #1.
Last year was their 60th anniversary and gave all workers a €15 voucher.

Small top up shop done today. Still money left in this months shopping budget. :):)

Yesterday the was a live training call, but was still in bed by 10.15pm
Had trouble drinking enough water, so the last 500ml I had to make an effort to drink before bed.
Steps was 800 short, so I ran on the spot to get the 10,000 done.

    Happy overall with yesterday. :)
